What did I say last week?! "I think it's more impressive that Base Superman could comprehend the Time Trapper's time hax, considering he was able to freeze Hellfire Doomsday in time!" I called it... For people who don't quite understand how impressive that was, Doomsday can tag Flashes, move in realms without the concepts of time, space, distance etc... Yet he was STILL frozen, but current Base Superman just casually went "wait... something is f"cking with time" and just adapted to the new flow. I'm not really surprised that he basically oneshot Hellfire Doomsday. If he evolves to match Supes in the next issues, it'd be a super fun read because they would keep breaking powerscaling in DC by one upping each other lol. But that's just an "if", either way Supes just keeps showing us why he's HIM. Goku's opp Frieza pulled up after a training arc and oneshot him. Superman has been my favorite DC hero since I was able to read comics back in the mid 70s. One shots the most lethal Doomsday to date, killing Him but only to go into round two to really go off on him.. Proves Why he is the first line of defense. Comics always show how powerful Kal is.
