There are problems associated with coffee machines. Coffee machines have plastic tubes through which hot water travels and picks up unsafe plastic chemicals. Coffee filter holders are rarely cleaned and they are petri dishes for molds that can grow there. Solution might be putting coffee grounds in a glass container and pouring hot water over it. This way you avoid coffee machine toxins.

I know a good Glass pour over is great with a clean paper filter. I love Americanos…I wonder if espresso has the same effects as a slower drip method.

Cut the tea out of their bags and drop into hot water. use a fine screen to filter the tea into cup or mug. Paper has dioxins in them.

@Dr. Gundry, thanks for this! I’m considering reducing (and possibly eliminating) my coffee intake. This episode gives me more information to consider ..

My GP still (quietly) peeved off with me when I dumped my statins 3 years ago. Today I am fit and healthy. Thank goodness I was only on that poison for about 2 years. I was prescribed Crestor 5 mg (then increased to 10 mg) when my total cholesterol hit a "whopping" 6.2 mmol/l (236 mg/dl)!!

Great podcast! Never thought about heavy cream in coffee. I will try that. Also low and slow cooking is great if you have the time. I do a lot of pressure cooking which also has my cheaper cuts of meat, (vegetables, etc) falling off the bone. I think I will order the cookbook. Want to try that mac & cheese. 🦋

Is green tea as powerful as coffee in preventing these diseases? I drink a lot of it but get jittery with coffee and much black tea.

I’ve found that watering down tea is really nice and it allows you to sip it. I do that with green tea and it mellows out the caffeine. I add lemon slices and it’s an easy sipping drink that can last without getting that caffeine buzz if you’re sensitive to it.
@LynnsYouTube2 жыл бұрын
@@kevinprociw3168 Thanks. I don't get jittery with green tea, just coffee and strong black tea. I'm wondering if green tea helps prevent these diseases too.

Yes, coffee is one of our best and safest plant medicines. So is cannabis. They go very well together.... they even sell coffee mugs with cannabis pipes built into them.
@kevinprociw31682 жыл бұрын
So true. Inhaling carcinogenic compounds into our lungs over and over again is simply the best way to increase longevity. We should definitely trust the coffee cup bong makers.
@joedavis41502 жыл бұрын
@@kevinprociw3168 ... Cannabis is way way easier on your lungs than tobacco is. We have to cultivate a sense of proportion.... Cannabis is much safer than alcohol, and it is even safer than ibuprofen and aspirin.

What a waste of a great video. I purchase Dr. Gundry's products. This video which could be educational is interrupted by ads constantly as if Dr. G. is a shameless promoter and not someone who cares. I could see if you're just starting out but it's painful and many who click on here won't stay past the 3rd commercial because it's too much. Every few mins. another add pops up which tells you where their true intentions are. Not sure I want to continue with his products.

Everything in moderation. To much coffee is bad. To much alcohol is bad. Just eat whole foods, good fats and lean protein, and excerise. Stress and watching videos on how to get the extra edge is a waste. My grand parents lived pass 100 years old. They ate whole foods and lived life. Focus and trust in Jesus and treat your body as it is a holy temple.
