Excellent Interview, really enjoyed Coach's take. If someone is curious regarding the taser method, or thinks it's backwards. It's simple operant conditioning. It might sound cruel, but there is a breadth of research on it that it would actually curb unwanted behaviours. It's typically not recommended due to the cruelty, induced anxiety etc. But for professional fighters who get punched for a living, it's not the worst possible thing,

His name is so easy to spell. It's Dricus. But I agree that Dricus would be smart to utilize wrestling takedowns and look for a submission or some heavy ground and pound. Izzy is a dynamic fighter with great takedown defense but if he gets taken down and put on his back, he's going to be like a fish out of water.

MMA broadcasters need to interview Morné more often and coaches of the sport in general. It’s refreshing and very insightful people like me who are learning about the sport and new fighting styles from different parts of the world so I think thats cool. Team CIT is repping my country, and repping my home city Pretoria (Pirara 012) let’s come back home with the gold 💪🏾🇿🇦

I have to say, I am someone that gets static shocks often from touching things and it has created this automatic response in me that i brace for the shock when touching things or try to earth myself before touching anything so that I dont shock. So even though some people might think its a savage method... it really works...

I don't see what the fuss is about about leg kicks and tasers. You get warned multiple times, you have a chance to learn a technique, but if you just get lazy and stop trying, then go home and think about it limping for a week or get a little jolt of electricity. It's MMA bro, you are risking brain damage, therefore I think at some point it should be banned, CTE is not a joke. But the sport is here right now, it is not going anywhere, so a coach protecting someone that came to them for help and coaching, what's the big deal? What they used to do at Chute Box in Brazil was much worse, they sparred too hard. If you want to know about real abuse and someone actually taking it too far, read the story of Satoshii Ishii, a former MMA fighter and a Judo Gold medalist. Look at what his coach did to him as a child. Now that'a abuse, this is basically just a prank and a warning.
