awesome video coach! let’s say i am in a corner and then there is a sharper corner at the end. how would i gain more angle while i am already in oversteer? would a clutch in and handbrake work?

Hi, yes it will absolutely work to clutch in and handbrake, mind also this: if you don't turn the wheel you will have a nice chill handbrake slide, but if you want sharp turn snappy big angle transition, you can also turn the wheel to the direction you want to snap to, then clutch and handbrake, it goes like this: 1. Turn (how much degrees wheel turned will be how sharp you will turn, once you handbrake) 2. Clutch In 3. Handbrake (depending on when you handbrake, you can keep the handbrake for half-to full second to let the car slide or just clutch hold 4. If you let off the handbrake and car starts straightening out, you can turn the wheel slightly again to the direction you want and handbrake to settle the car and make sure it won't snap you straight or straighten you out, if it started to do it slowly. Option 2: You can ignore handbrake and instead use weight transfer with throttle. 1. Turn the wheel to the direction you want to go (You want to do this only, if you really want to snap the car into massive angle) If in drift already, dumping the throttle fully will already send you in a big to massive angle, depending on your angle. 2. Lower or fully lift-off the throttle (how much you lower the throttle will determine how much angle you will get, due to the weight transfer) 3. If you skip step 1 then just weight transfer will transition you. Conclusion: Transition with handbrake and weight transfer will work, things to keep in mind. If you look to slow down drastically, then aim to get big angle, lift off throttle to engage the engine brake + massive angle and also adding brakes will be your fastest slowing down ever, so use that wisely, when you overcook the speed on some entries, but if you shift too much the weight and go into massive angle, then you might not be able to kill all that inertia that you have caused, so be careful with weight distribution too, plan the speed, the entry and how much space you have left. I hope this helps and I believe your comment is worth a video to be honest, because it's a great question!

i dont have a handbrake im just using the O button on my wheel (logitech g29) which can somtimes be hard to find if the wheel isnt straight. what technique can i use instead of a handbreak? is it posible to use downshifting? i only just watched your video on how to drift (starting with the donut) which ive pretty much got the donut down, just practising my entry now.

clutch kick if you have one, or you can jab the brakes really hard right and jerk the wheel hard for a second as the back end starts to transition, but u should be careful to not kill your revs, optionally don't lift off gas at all for that.

@@mow5808 thanks :]. i belive i know what clutch kicking is but while i do the i also shift into second to give me a bit more wheel spin (using the world drift tour sliva s15 mod that he linked in one of his vids)

There are a lot of variations you can do to mimic handbrake, Shift Lock is one, but ofc don't use this in real life. @mow5808 gave you great advice as well. You can slam on the brakes, then if revs die immediately on the clutch to cluck kick. Or you can clutch kick and go on the brake for a bit, if your goal is to extend and go wider on the line. In a nutshell you really need the handbrake way way later in the game, when you have really mastered Throttle & Steering + afterwards brakes

In assetto corsa, I have all these different mods for weather like pure or csl or acrealism idk which it is but my chase camers (the 3rd person one) is always getting blurry because raindrops land on my 3rd person screen for some reason. Do you know how to fix?

Hey brother yes, you must go in Content Manager -> Custom Shaders Patch -> RainFX -> Disable the rain drops for Chase Cameras
