O actually like the manual steering. It forces you to try and link everything so the car steers for you. It's more handbrake than to initiate with a kick and try to keep sliding as much. I do kill tires faster and have the stuff to put power steer in but I've gotten used to it. I know I have less steer issues than I see power guys have. I don't eat the rods as fast as other cars like mine but power.

I think the problem is that with the manual steering you cant rely on the handbrake to extend into the next corner as doing both manual steering with one arm and the handbrake with the other while trying not to clutch kick hard is not easy.

Saturn Vue steering columns are cheap and allow you to fit power steering in pretty much anything. Electric so no PS pump needed. Not that uncommon in the track car circle.

That’s cool man! I do think it’s a crime to drop a V8 in an RX7, but not cos of the whole rotary thing. Just cos I think if you choose a Japanese car then you should be choosing the Japanese turbo ways. But each to their own, I mean rotary is a pain to live with especially if you’re abusing it.

Nowadays you can easily add power steering without all the BS. Toyota Yaris, echos, corrollas have a good power assist steering. All you do is weld in the yaris steering assist in between your steering column and power wire it.

Nice car and not tryna sound like a hater but I hate engine Swaps on rx7’s unless they bought the car without an engine there’s 4 rx7 hardbacks near me with no engine and one with a 302 in it that’s blown and rusted and 2 convertible’s with the motor still in it and the only hardback with the 13b has lambo doors and the interior mainly stripped which is alright for a race build but it’s just so hard to find a hardback under 9k with the motor in it buy an empty shell and build off that or just buy the car that has the motor

Kyrie Anzalone Its a dry sump oil system. Look it up for more information, because I can't explain it without demonstration.

Its not a dry sump system it's a reservoir that holds pressurized oil for pre-oiling and to discharge during low oil pressure surges.

JPFiberglass... yeah about his stuff. On the website it looks like its super high quality, maybe some instructions.. it's not. Quality looks like home-brewed fiberglass and like fiberglass stuff it needs some massaging and cutting to work properly. I got a pair of jetstream knock off headlights from him a while back for one of my miatas. Originally it was for the drift miata, but knowing that car would be hit at some point in its life i opted for the 7" light bars on a sleepy-eye look. Definitely a lot cheaper and easy to replace than some one-off stuff. Either way the fiberglass stuff is still sitting in my room and I haven't gotten the courage to gut my pop ups out of my other miata to get everything to work. It just seems like a DIY nightmare lol.

I don't understand this hatred for handbraking. My vette doesn't have a handbrake, and I linked road atlanta a ton of times with it. A handbrake is a tool, I use it when it's available. When it's not I don't.
