I'd say the complete opposite. To be able to drift a stock power GR like this around Suzuka with that alignment and tyre pressures it's completely unrealistic.

Instructions unclear, shook hands with Barry R for half an hour and threw wheel base out of window Seriously impressive dude. I gave it a go in the same car and track for an hour and I only managed one nice drift around the last corner once. I think I need to rewatch your vids many times ;)

how do you feel about drifting in this game compared to AC1 ? i (only tried drifting mx5, giullia, zr1 and m4, and a little bit of abarth 565 slides) personally feel like the car has too much grip and is a little bit awkward as if it regained grip too easily/easier to save but i don't know if it's only me

Two things...ac 1 drifting isn't actually that realistic.. Good fun no doubt but more gamified than simulated. 2nd the drifting physics here are more intuitive but the cars are nowhere near what people are used to in ac mods like a 1k horsepower s13. It's harder to get it to carry a drift but somehow more natural..

@@gizmo104drives7 AC had multiple realistic drift mods (death wish, 1:1 sim, more broadly WDT), but even from personal experience, ACE doesn't feel like drifting a 2wd car at all, i was able to throw the gr in a 4 wheel slide like it was an EVO or any AWD (and i have insane videos of that). maybe AC was not 1:1 realism (it was pretty close), but this game in my opinion is really not on point and allows you to do wild things

I spent most of the video looking at the driver cam trying to figure out what that metal bar attachment thing is that you have screwed onto the front right of the wheel deck on the nlr 2.0 stand, and also trying to find where youve attached the shifter arm since it looks like you have the height adjustment all the way down.

It'd just the camera setting. It is set to fixed car chase camera. You can turn more dynamic the nfs\forza like chase camera in settings

love it dude! i was able to drift with this (not as good as you) and can verify its legit. if you want to try an alternate setup that fakes extra steering angle and is very catchable and steerable mid drift try using eco/eco 30.6 psi 0.3 toe -0.6 camber front 25 psi 0.1 toe -0.6 camber rear the car would be perfect with a little more angle, maybe 50 more lb ft of torque in the lower ranges, and some anti roll bars to adjust.

Heyy magical! Drifting feels really good and rewarding. It might look a bit weird due to stiff camera and low grip setup to link corners better. With stock setup it feels pretty natural, so give it a try

Drifting in 4th gear with a low hp car wouldn’t be possible otherwise, and of course no cool mods for camera to make it look better. I will definitely look forward to trying this game, and the fact there is 1600km2 of real life German roads at the Eifel is just insane. I think FH5 map is 108km2 so that’s absolutely insane 😂

@@magical5181 In real life it's always low grip, therefore if you want realism, you should only drive in low grip conditions in the sim. This is also probably Michelin Pilot Sports 4, but I have the primacy's, they have less grip and the winter tyres have even much less grip than any of those 2. Not sure though, if you have an option for that in the sim.

it gives a lot to usability in driving (fast). Dynamic camera requires much more skill to drive properly, especially on a wheel. In forza horizon i couldnt even go straight properly with 3rd person camera on a wheel, but its almost intuitive if its fixed.
