Hello Everyone!
I am making this video because of an interaction I had on my recent trip to Northern California. I spoke to a gentleman who was about to receive his FTR this week and had asked me if I knew anything about the exhaust baffle removal. He said that some web forum super genius had said it is an easy task using a slide hammer while still mounted on the bike. In my opinion this is quite possibly the most hack thing you could do to a brand new motorcycle so I went home took 5 minutes to look at what it would take to do the modification and started this video in the process. I am working on a GP Inspired exhaust system with SC Project and the guys over at Motovation but this mod will tie me over until that Ti/Carbon Beauty arrives!
I tossed my Nephew Roman my phone and we made this video in the driveway with the tools I take with me in the Sprinter Van. Apologies in advance for the sound. I Just purchased a wireless mic for the future videos but this was quick and dirty.
Disclaimer - To clarify this modification will make this exhaust for CLOSED COURSE USE ONLY. You can do as you please but this is just a heads up.
