Holy crap there is nothing easy about and EASY out. I have kept screws since the 70's. Cool you had the jets, Beat me on that one. Fantastic video Bob.

You can also drill a small hole in the brass plug an use a screew in the hole to draw it out works great i do this in my shop all the time

The easy outs are not easy, But what do you have to lose if you can't get it you are stuck with a carb that you can't adjust.

How is your Tao Tao running after the big bore kit?

I don't know what all is done to my 50CC tao tao but it will do 70mph on flat roads with my skinny butt on it. Only does 25-30mph going up hill though. It has a decent aftermarket exhaust and a real Mikuni round slide carburetor on it. As far as that, I have no idea what's done to it. I bought it non running because it needed the vacuum actuated fuel petcock replaced. I think it has had clutch upgrades put in it because it will go up to around 25mph and shift into high gear? I know they don't have gears but that is what it feels like.

the Chinese word tao is pronounced "dow" . it means ' the way ' . Taoism is a Chinese religion ,one of many . il leave it up to you to learn more . great video , cheers !

that's the federal GOVs for you... you're lucky they didn't make the manufacturer use hardened steel screws and plugs(i have come across that type,that you cannot drill---well,you can,but ONLY with solid carbide drills--cheap from china,ebay)

Work smarter not harder… use dremel and a cutting wheel, cut a slot in each one, remove it with a screwdriver.
