Those graphic pictures, along with verbal explanations, made for a clearer picture of how the entire fuel delivery of the CV carb works. Great presentation, once again.

Probably one of the best explanations of how the cv Or any carb for that matter, works that I have seen. The well executed use of graphics really added to getting a clear message across and helped give "life" to the mysterious internal workings of a carburator. A picture is worth a thousand words and video is many more than that. I appreciate that you are not afraid to share when it is pointed out something you have previously is in error, You are only human after all, and we all make mistakes. How one handles being called out on one says much about a persons integrity.

I just came here looking for a general explanation of how carbs work. Even though your purpose was to focus on the idle screw, therefore skipping over the accelerator pump and other parts, this is by far the best explanation I've seen! I love how you superimposed an animation over a live video. Augmented reality is the best way to understand design and function, in my opinion. I would love to see you go further with this method of explanation. Your videos would have more hits than Engineering Explained!

The role of the spring is also worth to talk about. Its strength determines the air/fuel ratio. If the spring is old and weak, the same vacuum will suck the diaphragm and pin higher, so the fuel consumption will increase.

And how could we find the optimum set point of air screw when we adjust it for maximum milage...

+Burt Reynolds thank you burt, yes u don’t ride at idle but the the small Jet provides fuel to the system at least until half way to full throttle. So it is pretty important for responsiveness and pick up, also for spark plugs health.
