Big fan of your videos - excellent point on center line of drill location in X - I used to see machines in the field that had a X coordinate on a panel that was the location for all the drill's

Hey Tom absolutly love your videos. Extremely informative. I just started programming about a year ago. I think I'm starting to get the hang of some of it. We are Doing alot of big castings. Can you please do an example of a g73 canned cycle? I really appreciate it. Thanks

I am running a Leadwell lathe with an OI-tc control and when using a G83 cycle, if I program "Q" as .25 it tells me its an illegal use of a decimal point. I have to program "Q 2500" . Is there a parameter to change this or are some controls just this way.

I have a question. I use this code in a Miyano machine with a fanuc control. I always receive a 007 illegal use of decimal point. How can i solve this problem? Thanks in advance

In my experience there is no need for the G0 Z.25 line as the drill automatically retracts to the starting position of the cycle (Z.1) Also I have found that the R.1 will retract to Z.2 not Z.1 as it is .1 infront of your initial starting position of Z.1 I operate a fanuc lathe so possibly I'm talking out my ass! Haha Great videos! Keep them coming Anything on Live tooling? Or using manual quide for mill turn?? 👍👍👍
