In the fight scene in the cabin, Sensei Seagull injured stuntman Sven-Ole Thorsen for real, punching him in the throat and sending him to the hospital. Sven is a legendary stuntman, he was in pretty much every big Arnie movie (both are buddies from Arnold's bodybuilding days), was in Collateral, Gladiator, Lethal Weapon 3, you name it. According to Sven, Seagull not only never apologize for it, but he left the shot in the actual movie, because it "looked better".

@@billdoor3140 Sven-Ole Thorsen is a former bobybuilder and boxer & also holds black belts in Judo & Karate. He's 80 years now & retired but back then, he could probably fold Seagull like a chair. Problem is, you don't have much of a say as stuntman when the other guy is not only the star of the movie but also the director & exec.producer. Seagull has done this BS to other stuntman too, because he can get away with it as the "star of the movie". Speaks volumes what a despicable twat waffle he is.

To your point about Dolph Lundgren, he actually did plenty of theatrical releases like Rocky IV, Masters of the Universe, Red Scorpion, Showdown in Little Tokyo, I Come in Peace (his best), Universal Soldier, Johnny Mnemonic, The Expendables, Creed 2 and Aquaman for major studios (WarnerBros, Carolco, MGM, Tristar, Miramax, DC) and worked with the same directors of First Blood, Independence Day, Commando, Double Impact and Con Air. His best movie for pure action was 'Joshua Tree' as it can stand up to any of the action from Stallone's or Schwarzenegger's movies thanks to being directed by the legendary Vic Armstrong who gives it a very Hong Kong action style. Unlike Seagal's and Van Damme's recent output, Dolph is also still making quality films, 'Wanted Man' had great production values, supporting cast, storyline and characters.

This movie is best described by the admiral lady in Picard S1 as "Sheer fucking hubris!" Basically it is like those fan fictions a kid would make where his character is super smart and always right and he kills the bullies in brutal ways... and to anyone but him it feels like watching a crazed maniac murder perfectly normal people. It says a lot about the lack of mental development of Segal that he wrote and directed this thinking people would see him as a hero. I was unfortunately, mandated to watch it as a friend of mine who practiced aikido thought Segal was the bee's knees. I still feel sorry for poor Michael Caine for being forced to play in this movie. His character was the best part, and I loved how really, he was completely in the right and calls out Segal on his bullshit when he kills him.
