I bought mine 2013 4runner Sr5 7 years ago and it runs like a 🏆 champ. No issues at all. It's all paid for. The tires lasted 4 years and the battery 7 year. Now, I had ran the Hankook All Terrain on it with a brand new Toyota Battery. Gonna keep it until the engine goes out which highly not going to happen since it has the most reliable and dependable V6 engine on the market. All synthetic oil change only by Toyota.

My only complain is that its not a V8. Other than that, Toyota can survive just about anything.

There is no reason to kill the v8 its a truck with a v6. Toyota says fuel economy but to me its seesms they cheaped out on the powertrain

It isnt perfect but id take toyotas reliability any day...but the sequoia is my top choice...4runner is the runner up
@taitai90713 жыл бұрын
I don't think it's that bad, but I don't like the new ones either. I want Toyota to go back to the second or first generation styles and bring back a good manual transmission or two. On the other hand, the current 4Runner is still one of the more "conservative" SUVs and not a poor excuse known as a "crossover".

dude 4get consumer reports they are the last people you want info from, go to jd power, or motorweek, or top gear, or tflcar. but actually toyota depreciates faster, both are about the same reliabilty. so just test drive it for yourself
@MrBigjdub7612 жыл бұрын
I just can't decide between this and a Jeep GC. The Jeep has a much nicer interior and is better looking, but this is rated higher by Consumer Reports, has three rows and retains it's value better. I just dunno...
@Zinizzle13 жыл бұрын
@MakeLoveNoBabiez It's predecessors exterior in my opinion was to feminine, and not as rugged. The interior could use some softer touch and higher quality materials for your 30k, but overall the execution in my opinion is great. Driving position might need some work too.

I hate this new 4runner, interior got soo cheap, the stupid 4 cylinder engine is insanely slow and doesn't even get that much better gas mileage than the V6 engine. They took away the switch 4WD control and put back that stupid lever thats fussy to operate and they got rid of the auto climate control that was standard on all models...

Toyota is going to hell in a hand basket. This car is hideous and every domestic manufacturer has something that is better right now, with better engine choices, better fuel economy and much much better interiors. It looks like they took interior pieces from a cheap compact Nissan and stuck them in here. What a shame.
@BunglowBill6 жыл бұрын
flatblackstrat 7 years later you'll be glad to know toyotas from this lineup are running still with almost to even over 200k miles and still demanding over $10k resale value. Toyota is the king of reliability and holding value.
