Waiting on my copy …….to me it’s one of the best movies ever made in my opinion I’m obsessed with this movie I read the book I read the sequel to the book I had the soundtrack I had three different Steelbooks …cant wait that I’m going to have this beautiful box and see it in glorious 4K… not cheap bit worth it

its a modern day classic, one of the best films from the last 12 yrs , only to get better, the subtle under tone of a story of the frog and the scorpion is amazing, the OST is 10/10 Gosling is stunning in this, its my must have 4k DVD, been waiting for this for a while, hoping to pick it up at the weekend.

It pained me to buy this for 40 dollars especially after I already bought the bluray but it's one of my favorite movies and I wanted to support Second Sight for their great work on it. Excited to rewatch it. I can't believe you didn't love it the first time you saw it! I forgive you.

Ken, if you liked Neon Demon, you should see Only God Forgives. It's very weird like ND but maybe a bit more violent. The colors in the movie are very, very saturated and it would look amazing in 4K and HDR. (It's not on 4K yet.) I definitely like it more than ND.

I went into Only God Forgives with no expectations and it totally blew my mind, I watched it two weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about it . Ideally needs to watch it on a big screen for total immersion .

Just bought the regular bluray today to watch it. The standard 4k edition on second sight is sold out so you will have to get the box set. Will have to watch the movie to see if it is worth 55 for the boxes 4k. Great viedo by the way

I really wonder the level of violence people have seen in films before for so many people to constantly condemn the violence in this film. Sure, there’s some brutality, but it makes complete sense to the character and story being told, and honestly, just isn’t this overly violent film. It’s certainly not Irreversible

As long as you have a 4K player I’m pretty sure it will work. I’ve seen people sell just the 4K disc and case.

Violence isn't necessarily horror, don't mistake the two. Yeah this film is very violent but there's nothing scary about it. It might look horrific but it's just violence for violence.

Only God Forgives was a film I wish I had never seen. It’s surreal, of course, but the violence in some scenes is on a level that it almost feels gimmicky. Yeah, and I love Drive. Only God Forgives finds Ryan Gosling basically wandering around a neon world, punctuated by extreme violence. In a significant way, it’s just a miss for me.

I actually think I felt similar about Drive. I havent seen OGF but Drive, which I havent seen since it premeired back in 2011, felt like the violence was just to get a rise out of people. Almost like it wasn't organic to the character and movie. Like a director saying "Hey look at how wicked violent my movie is!" Maybe I should watch it again tho lol
