I really appreciate it, I work hard to keep creating these exclusive videos each week for all of you to watch & enjoy! 😉 Though I will say that one of the hardest things for me is that because these videos take me between 3-6 days of work to create, it always seems my content is released after everyone else’s & they all simply do these short chat review videos & everyone watching has already ordered their 4K copies by that time, so it’s hard to get the support needed for this content I create lol!!!! So it’s just hard to get support & the word out about my videos sometimes because just like with this video it’s a full week behind because of all the extra work I have to do to create this. I am glad my exclusive testing helped you out, I too always find it interesting when I find something works differently then expected just like the 1080p Blu ray & the UB820, that was a nice bonus! But you will for sure enjoy this new 4K UltraHD of Drive it was a very nice surprise. What 4K edition of Drive are you planning on buying? I have this set. It's quite good like the others I own. Im sure the middleman press team isn't great but ordering from Second Sight has been great. Amazing packing techniques and they take their time with releases if they aren't ready. Probably why dealing with them through a sub would be frustrating.

All my experiences I have had dealing with their publicity firm has been very bad, they treated me like I was bottom of the barrel. They would promise things then not live up to them & offer to send a blank disc without any boxing or packaging after they had forgotten to send me an actual physical review copy before the release date numerous times 😡 I find it to look very poor on Second Sight because I also contacted them directly & they completely ignored how their press firm handles things & didn’t seem to care or respond at all! So to me as a reviewer who works very hard to create each of these exclusive comparison reviews, I have to plan out reviews in advance because these take me between 3-6 days per video to create & I explained all of this to the firm originally trying to estimate when I could plan on starting to work on their review & they didn’t live up to a single thing. So overall Second Sight have been one of the worst companies to try & work with especially when it’s free advertising they are wanting from reviewers like me. So because of all of this it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth for doing any future Second Sight releases for review, I don’t like supporting & giving free advertising to companies who have treated me & my KZbin Channel very poorly! 😠 👎

I never finished watching Drive. I started watching, paused it at the police stunt scene and when I found the time to watch it again, Netflix removed it. Then, I just forgot about it until I saw the Blu-ray for $6.99, but ended up leaving it. Maybe it is time to finally sit down and watch it. Thanks for the review. Cheers, man!

Yay I was really hoping you’d cover this. By chance did you compare this to that German 4K release that came out previously?

The German release is inferior & was not overseen by the Director & original Colorist, the German release also did not get a new 4K master & HDR color grading to match the Directors Original Vision. So there are several other big differences like German set is missing ALL of the New Special Features so it doesn’t have any of those either. So there really was no comparison because the German release doesn’t hold a candle to this Second Sight 4K. Hopefully this answers & helps you out! 👍

Do you have a Sony UBP-X800M2 blu-ray player to test with? I have one and it’s been great to use since I can use my Sony A80J TV remote to control it, but it locks up on some discs at certain playing times.

Sometimes when I’m watching 4K movies on my player, it would be so loud sounding like a jet engine. Do you know why that is? I have no scratches on the disk so it’s not dirty and I cleaned it and it seems to be fine. This happened last year with my Sting 4K

Yep, I talked about this on my Twitter: 4KBluRayReviews So you should follow me on my Twitter for more updates. But the software & KZbin won’t allow it in 4K & I spent 3 full days fighting everything under the Sun simply trying to get this to show & play in full 4K on KZbin like it was filmed & edited in, but to no avail! So it was either I release it as it’s being allowed at 1080p 60FPS or delete all my 6 days of hard work & don’t release this video at all lol!! 🥵 This video was one of the hardest videos for me to create & was a total nightmare with software & KZbin. I normally limit the amount of time I will work on a video to a max of 4 days but this video took a full 6 days to finish creating & I am starting to feel like it was a lot of my time & money wasted!😥 Make sure to follow me on my Twitter for all the behind the scenes info & updates!
