We're back! It's been a long time coming, but now I'm ready to show you what's next! We're going to be doing a lot more original interviews with professional screenwriters, so we can actually get to the good stuff. What film or screenwriter would you like to see featured on the channel?

Oscar Isaac was masterful as Standard. He had such a small role and had to convince you he was actually a good guy. “You know, we're here celebrating but it's a shameful thing... what I did. And I have a lot of making up to do to everyone. But second chances are rare. Right? And that's worth celebrating.”

Nehemiah! You're back! Love to see it mate, can't wait for the future of this channel! This is a bit of an odd request, but I'd love to see an interview with screenwriter David N. White, who's worked on a lot of DTV action movies (mostly for Isaac Florentine). Whatever the case, just glad to see you again!

Drive has a nice Soundtrack too. A Real Hero by Electric Youth plays a big role in this film through several scenes. It's a cool little Electro-pop synth wave group, please check them out as far as the film goes, I think it's a bit underrated, nobody seems to acknowledge its existence 10+ year later. Really love the artistic blend of visuals, soundtrack dialog and action in Drive. Great film.

Thanks for the video. Really enjoyed it. I am old, so I have a long memory of cinema. When I saw the movie, and I loved the movie, it struck me that it was a modern day version of the 1981 Michael Mann movie "Thief" starring James Cann and Tuesday Weld . Add in the "Drive" element, but the essence and core is very similar. Not a lift, but parallel mood and message. If you like "Drive" then you should watch "Thief". Both great movies. The lone wolf.

@@BehindtheCurtain Yes, I believe it was a 1986 crime/drama film (based on true events) by James Foley about a son (Sean Penn) connecting with his criminal notorious dad (Christopher Walken). Their acting is great (in my view). It has some other good actors (not well known at that time), and a handfull of memorable scenes. The score is haunting, with the theme from Madonna's "Live to Tell". The movie is not perfect, but still very underrated (in my view)... and definitely worth seeing or doing a video about. ;-)

Ryan Gosling had a cool vibe for sure, even mesmerizing, but I'm amazed at how many people can be inspired by the character. The ending of the movie to me was about the triumph of a psycho killer. Someone should have told him that you can't crash a car head on into another one and have the car headlights survive as they did in Gosling's car when he broadsides the baddie's car over the beach cliff (he also rear ends the baddie's car earlier and still his headlights remain functioning = ridiculous). Nor can a car actually go very fast in reverse. Other than that and the fact that Gosling oddly leaves the million bucks behind in the last scene the movie was quite good.
