@@rallypoint1 oh wow,,forgot just got home... thanks matt! Let me tell ya. It's a really nice speaker 🔊 made really well,you can tell by the weight of it. Has a nice cable/cord and it is flexible. Has good mounting hardware. Now man you can really here everything with this one has a nice base tone to it. Got to volume way down, it's almost like a stage pa. Would make a good base station speaker to, if you can't hear what someone is saying with this one you can't hear lol...thanks again Matt👍👍

Looks like someone finally made an external speaker that’s loud , clear , and don’t squeal like a wild pig . That’s always the challenge in a road tractor or regular cab pickup . That’s impressive . Heavy duty cable and right angle plug is genius . Finally , a product that seems to be designed by a radio hobbyists 👏👏 I’ve used their all stainless steel antenna studs , at least vim pretty sure it’s that same brand , once mounted firmly , you can tow your car with it . Very well built and good quality

Nice speaker! Have been a professional bass player since I was 15. A larger cabinet, larger speaker magnet and larger gauge wire will inherently produce better sound. Power rating for speaker is measured at maximum input wattage. Has nothing to do with sound quality. Very impressed with this product. The stud problem you picked up on. Heavy duty yes. Lacking grooves for proper connection is it's down fall. They loosen up over time, allowing moisture in. Have personally used a dremel tool and file on these to make grooves and alleviate this problem; along with copious amounts of dielectric grease. A good product that can be improved upon. Sincerely, I'm off the key. 😑🦗

I was just about to post an update. Retail price is $69.99 on these bad boys, but apparently you can get them cheaper at the actual stores. I'm probably going to end up being a dealer for them but nothing definite yet. Please let us know how you like it.

I’m definitely going to get me one of those speakers, so thanks for the very helpful review. Too bad about that antenna stud. It would’ve been really cool to have that for my Predator. If they do cut notches for it, I hope they make it clear on the revision. The problem with design engineers; they’re seldom involved in the validation process. 🤷‍♂️

11:33 Not sure why you are correlating watts to loudness. Given both speakers are fed the same wattage, and each speaker has the same impedance the more efficient speaker will be louder. Power handling (in watts) is simply how much heat energy it can dissipate operating non stop. Passive external speakers are the biggest scam in mobile communications. Lucky if any speaker assembly costs more than $5 USD to manufacture in 2022. Just absolute rubbage hardware. At $50 that thing should be amplified to justify the cost.
