All of the chicken coop designs get better and better! You are not only catching the eye of homesteaders, but people who would love to raise chickens in a beautiful coop at their home! Great job and great testimony. ❤

Justin & Rebecca, you are so blessed to have exceptional “helpers” in you life: Randolph, Annie, Austin & wife, Chris & wife, Big Daddy & Grandma, Joel Salatin, Arun & wife, Mike the mechanic, horse trainers, nannies, Abundance + community, and KZbin family. Not bad. 🌸 The pretty coop is very pretty. 🌼

I’m a crazy chicken lady, lol. I currently don’t have any chickens, it’s not by choice it’s dew to a current life situation. I can’t wait to move back out of the insane and corrupt State. I loved off grid life, it was hard but I loved the freedom. Love your channel god bless

I raise American Breese chickens and they have a 14x14 coop called the American Bresse Embassy. These girls have are 💯 spoiled. It has windows a 6x8 roost and each laying bin is decorated individually like a little apartment with pictures of roosters, tiny post cards and inspirational little notes. Red white and blue American flag theme with a nursery for the brooder babies (decorated like a nursery should be for two genders) and a wash area with a sink and work table. USA curtains and soon to have a flag pole out front and other cute comforts. I love my patriotic chickens! ❤

Cooee is a very Australian way to call others from a distance when in the bush. I was a little shocked when I head Joel uses it. It's very old orginally used by the Aboriginals.

Dang. I'm a crazy chicken lady. I have insulated my chicken house all round with polyester batts. But then I live in the tropics in Northern Australia, and it keeps the house cooler so when the Girls go to bed, it's not stifling hot. The only thing I'd add on that pretty-shaw is a handle on the door end of the gable to help with lifting it.

Love the brooder! That is what we use for a brooder. I buy the largest storage tub I can find at Walmart. I prefer the clear tub but any color will work. The first 2 times we washed the tub and then used it for general storage afterwards. This year I made a top with wood and chicken wire. (We had leftover chicken wire). It worked perfectly. We use hardware cloth for our chicken run.

Blows my mind that people think of this as permaculture. Massive waste of resources, just massive. driving crazy far for just a 'fancier' coop and all this manufactured BS. This is not permaculture, this is rich people thinking they can buy manufactured sustainability from someone else. You cant.

You should stop the redundancy of “you might be a homesteader or chicken lady, etc if.” You have already said it twice and we are only 4 minutes into this video. It’s old and annoying and not funny. You are the only one laughing. We get it.
