I hope that you will be able to solve your problem with your trachea soon. I don’t know how you were able to handle the ride home. I’m glad that you made it home safe and were able to recover. I really admire the fact with all your health issues you are still able to post. I pray your story helps others dealing with mitochondria and maybe Dr’s can get an inside view from a patient and learn from it. Keeping you in my prayers and God bless you always. ❤️🙏🇨🇦

My Dear and Precious Friend I really like the footage you took while in the car Beautiful Scenery. That was a long road trip to your Doctor. After all of that Trauma you went through I wonder what results your Doctor came up with? To me that was unnecessaryTrauma she put you through when she knows you have Dystona. I am So Very Glad you were able to sleep and recover. Keep Up updated in how you are feeling and what was the outcome of this appointment.

Hello. Thank you for your comment. The doctor did not know I have dystonia. The results were the doctor could not get a full view at my trachea. She needs to do another procedure in which my tracheostomy tube is pulled out. I have recovered. Thank you for asking.

I am with you regarding that "second thought" @ following up with that doctor. I have found that the "spray(s)" oftentimes used for numbing cause traumatic reactions, including what you described. ???Why aren't these reactions listed as some of the things that COULD happen with use, I can't imagine. Surely many others have also experienced the same detrimental reactions and suffered needlessly. I won't use such any more unless a doctor and her/his "second" all agree it's a life or death matter. The reactions are such that other body systems are weakened during same. I am very VERY glad you are not only educated in but also highly experienced in taking charge of your own health care. Your sweet and Godly attitude toward all the details you face with things going pickly is inspiration to me, personally. Thank you for responding to the Holy Spirit when He helps you despite the problems that arise during your doctor care visits and resulting "side effects." Holding you up in prayer to our Loving Father God.

Very interesting…. I had a odd flare after having the nose scope with the lidocaine spray which is very minor … it hurt in that area for weeks after . I have dystonia in my left foot 🦶 it hurts ….

stupid complicated health insurance problems in this country

My health insurance issues would not be so complicated, but I have four different health insurance companies. 99.99% of the time work together, but every once in a great while, there is a break down in communication between the companies. Thankfully this was all sorted out by a very kind woman at the insurance company.

I feel so grateful to live in Canada where we don’t have to deal with insurance companies.

You do, however, have waiting lists. Anyway, I suspect that she's on Medicaid and had to see a doctor in another state, and that can often be a problem.

@jaydahome-teillarddeyry6200 Yes, health insurance companies can sometimes make things challenging, but I am very grateful for my health insurance. I can get medical care anywhere in the USA. I used to live in a country with free medical care. It was nice to not have insurance issues, but I had to move to the USA because I could not get the medical care I needed in the country where I used to live.
