Please don't feel like you need stress yourself to make a video on account of us. I know what it's like Not being able to breathe. There was a few times I just barely limped myself into the ER on account of asthma. Anyway Im glad you're feeling better and they got you sorted out.

@LifewithaVent Thank you for your reply! I've been to ERs for myself and others, so I wasn't surprised by the ER process, but I'll admit, I was surprised that you weren't seen faster because there was an idea of what you were dealing with and it's an urgent matter. How do you feel about waiting with others who are sick, when your preexisting risk factors would make a cold or flu, more difficult for you? I understand you may not answer private questions, so no worries if you choose not to.
@LifewithaVentСағат бұрын
@@inspiredclips8245 I was actually shocked how fast I was seen. They took me through triage as soon as the triage nurse was able to take finish with the patient she was seeing. I then was taken to a room in the ER. I did not mind waiting in the ER because I was on the trauma side, and I had my own private room with a door. There are different parts to the ER, and the trauma side has mostly accidents and injuries. Sick people are taken to a different ER section which is in an area away from the trauma center. The ER tries to keep sick people contained in their own area.

When you're having spend the night in the ER are you expected to bring your own TPN and run it overnight or will the hospital provide the TPN for overnight? I know when I had blood clots in my lungs they actually asked me to go home and get my medication because they didn't want to disturb the pharmacist that was on call. So I'm just wondering if the only way you will get your TPN is to do it yourself or have orders been put in for the hospital provide the TPN?
@LifewithaVent3 сағат бұрын
When I am under the care of the ER, I am expected to bring my own TPN. When my care is passed on to the hospital team, they take over my care and can order my TPN. I usually bring TPN with me when I go to the ER. I try to continue using my own TPN while hospitalized because my home formula is specifically tailored for me. (I have some micro nutrient deficiencies which require extra add-ins to my formula and are not necessarily in regular TPN.) Many hospital doctors are not familiar with TPN formulas, and they often let me use my home TPN.

Thank you for sharing your story!! It’s absolutely heartbreaking to hear your story and it’s incredibly hard to justify everything you went through but I’m so glad you found a way to this channel to send out hope and that gives you a newfound sense of joy. I did hear of this Japanese philosophy called ‘kintsugi’ which reminds me of the mosaic analogy in the end. It is very difficult indeed to see where all the pain fits into your life and you’d rather not want it to have happened at all than justify now that it’s happened and having a KZbin channel may just not cut it when you’ve put so much into your dreams, but I hope that you do pick up all the pieces and make a wonderful mosaic indeed! And I do hope you’ll get up one day and be able to see the world 🌍 for its entirety. I’ve been mismedicated too frequently and been constantly gaslit by healthcare providers and my family as well (being put on medications for bipolar, epilepsy, schizophrenia and countless other medications; I only started off with adhd and found out about autism). I finally found one that works for me and I hope one day you’ll get up and be free again; you can constantly keep learning even while bedridden, much love to you.

I found your channel today. You might not be a physician, but the information you provide prove to be more useful than being a doctor at the moment. It might be a cliche you have heard before, but you should know that your life has this purpose: informing people about how people with chronic conditions live and how to get through them with courage.
