Not one comment of the poster in front of him. My dad paid me 100.00 to memorize that poem back in 1985. One of the greatest written works known to man in my opinion. Great for dads to pass on to kids.

Pretty cool Porsche Dennis! Reminds me of back in 76 or 77 I was in my 70 442 convertible with the 455 engine and I raced a Guy who had a red Porsche 911 about the same year as this one! I won the race! The Guy who owned the Porsche wrecked it twice that I know of both times seriously damaging the drivers quarter panel! Then the car disappeared a few years later!

Richards tire marks are gone lol. Driving down my old street. Dennis, I hope the orange shirt with the #3 on it wasn't premeditated symbolism on your part lol! If you don't know what im talking about, just Google the color orange and the #3 together and im sure you will find something. Back in the day that winding road going towards your house Mcmillian was a single car wooden bridge and it took 20 mins to get down McCreary because of all the potholes in a cornfield. Dennis. I think you'll find a buyer from Europe with this little gem! I restored one of these back in the '70's . I think the paint was the only thing keeping it together. God! It was a rusty old bucket! This is a superb example. Take care and stay safe.

@fender Some are dreamers, some know the reality of the Porsche market. This is a ordinary 911, bit of a survivor but base model, not worth a lot. BAT is the right venue for it. Dennis should chill on the superlatives. Lets get some better tires on it & #thiccbeauty Kelsey could go drive it to her fave taco place in Texas. Thats a cool episode idea.

Thanks Dennis. This car brought back memories of my Pop. We lived in Pittsburgh and Boston. His was white and bought in CA after he got out of the service. No sunroof, but he had a kill switch under the seat. It was attempted to be stolen 4 time in Boston. We lived up on a bluff. And would always find the car at the bottom of the bluff. He did his internship at Tufts University. And would pick me up at school and I'd shift on the way home. We went to many races in that car. Sadly when we moved to WI the rust beat it to death. I've had a 944, 911 and 930 Turbo. I guess Porsche is in my blood. The sound of that motor brought back memories, thanks again. I'm going to guess, $125,000. I might be low, haven't been buying Porsches lately.
