Love the video Jason and loved your comment at 21:41 where u said " I encouage you guys to do the same ".. We spend so much time tinkering repairing and fussing over our rides that we forget they dont have to be perfect to take em on a 500 mile or more journey as they were made to be driven. Get out and drive....

Very familiar with Washington DC traffic especially 95 South! I guess you guys tested the cooling system!
@OldeCarrGuy Жыл бұрын
lol Not even an issue!
@glennnickerson8438 Жыл бұрын
I avoid DC traffic and I-95 like the plague! Whenever I head south I go I-81 thru PA. It may be a few more miles but the traffic is lighter. My thinking on the matter is: Forward momentum is progress compared to sitting in traffic! Glad you had a good time Jason! Only missed my house by 20 miles in NH! 😆

That is a long drive! From NH I've done Philly and back, about 8 hours each way. For my Georgia trip I took a jet, needed to be back the next day. :D

On behalf of all Americans I'd like to apologize for the terrible pot holes and Washington DC in general. 👍

I saw you in other YT show footage of C10s in the City and figured you were doing a big, automotive vacation "two-fer" by sticking around for Hot Rod Power Tour. Missed opportunity there. But glad you made this trip and brought us along. Glad Dale did his duties so well for ya. 👍

Wish I could have! Just hard to take that much time off!
@SaneCayne Жыл бұрын
@@OldeCarrGuy That was my first thought. Basically three weeks? But hey, it's your business, you can take as much unPTO off as you want. 😆
@OldeCarrGuy Жыл бұрын
@@SaneCayne that is true, however, when I’m not there, nothing can be sold as I’m that guy!! So one week at a time until the last 2 weeks of August when we shut down the business for 2 weeks for vacation!

@@OldeCarrGuy Hmm... you need a succession plan. Or at least have your wife or a good friend, or a PT employee with enough executive privileges to move some cars off the lot while yer out having a little fun.

@@SaneCayne we’re getting there! Covid messed up a good thing we had. Lost a few good employees due to work shortages. But we’ll get there!

I'm a mild Hot Wheels nut. So I did know who Bruce was. But I didn't know he's just up the road from me and has a museum. I'll have to check that out if I'm ever in the area.
