LC500 is actually the Soarer/SC successor. Totally agreed, put a diff body on the LC500, make the interior 'sporty' and call it a Supra.

The mk3 Supra was based off the z20 soarer and the mkiv Supra was based off the z30 soarer so it would’ve been cool if they had continued the trend and base the mkv Supra off the LC500

IMO the Lexus LC is too big and heavy to be a Supra base. The Supra shouldn't be approaching two tonnes and I doubt it'd be straightforward to make the LC ~400kg lighter to make it a proper sports car. It's a GT.
