Amazing to see trees this far North. In Labrador or Northern Quebec, once you go North of 56 degrees North, the landscape becomes treeless. Fort Smith's landscape almost reminds me of Newfoundland's Great Northern Peninsula as well as Labrador where the vegetation is much smaller.

worked at Bell Rock shipyards for NTCL {Northern Transportation company } 1963/4 was the storekeeper then to hay river in the 60s fort smith had a few characters in those days the MV Radium King laid up there greetings from Vung Tau Vietnam

Been 20 years since I've been away from Ft. Smith, it sure does bring back memories. Doesn't look like it's changed at all.
