I went camping there last summer! Though it was mostly cloudy almost the whole time I had lots of fun!

Love Ocean Shores. Had the pleasure of working on the construction of the Quinault Casino back in 99-2000. Best job site hands down, good times. The Quinault Nation is awesome.

Thanks for sharing! That is a nice casino/hotel there. I always thought it would be a good place to expand. Would be awesome if they ever made a real RV park with hookups instead of just the dry camping area.

You picked the perfect day to drive through Shores! I’ve lived here eight years… have loved every minute of it. It normally is a “summer town” but this year is a welcome exception! (And yes you traveled past my house!) There is also a new donut shop at 28:31, in the same building as Our Place and The Eagles!

It is unbelievable how many deer are there, I always see them in peoples yards it seems. You live in a little bit of paradise, keep enjoying the sunshine and stormy days! One of our favorite things is to actually walk on the beach in the winter :) I will have to check out the donut shop next time.

I saw your KZbin video, but when you was going down the road that you said it’s hard to not go faster, after you got over the canal, about eight minutes after that there was some warehouses on the right hand side by four or five big white storage warehouse, if you would’ve made a right just before that it’s a town called Oyhuy Bay, I’m not sure if you’ve been there before, I moved there in August, very nice development . Oh you have to look or Google the oyhuy Bay grill, they call it the Beverly Hills of Ocean Shore’s LOL they have a lot of cottages and one condominium which I live in, every Saturday they have some kind of entertainment, it’s a really really nice place, but because you do go to Ocean Shores most likely you probably been there, I ran across your KZbin, because I was looking for a KZbin that was recently filled to send to my friend, Thanks for filming, I hope you can read my voice text because sometimes it messes up a lot, and I am Truck Driver / and it’s dark, so I can’t see what I’m voice text LOL

Thanks, I will check that out next time. The grill sounds like it would be a good place to eat! I love watching truck driver channels, you should start one!

I love Ocean Shores. It's a great place to relax. The original poster asked why there is so much land available and states that the town has not grown like other beach towns along the Gulf Coast or California. The two main reasons is there are very few jobs in that area and more often than not it is freezing cold there. In fact, the ocean water is not swimmable any time of the year.

The “Market & Shops” at 11:25 is Oyhut Bay. There’s not a whole lot there, but Oyhut Bay Bistro is hands-down the best restaurant in town. Just wish they did breakfasts.

Ocean Shores, a very attractive place! I want to go there, to be on the ocean shore! Thanks for a great trip! Will you go there again? Next time, if you are there, look at the restaurants in "Our Place", they cook deliciously and my friend Denny works there, makes delicious cinnamon buns, I dream to try them))) Lol

Westport has more long-term residents than Ocean Shores. Very few people are “From” Ocean Shores and most of the population is over 60. There’s probably more people in Ocean Shores (unless you include Markham as part of Westport). In the 12 years I’ve lived in Ocean Shores, the population has quadrupled. There really isn’t an “Off-Season” anymore. It’s pretty much busy year-round.
@AmericanOutbackAmazing3 жыл бұрын
That explains everything, I thought it was just a summer town.

There is no City or Community Center to Ocean Shores. The development plans Are just a long long long strip mall effect. It must be insanely boring in Ocean Shores. All the houses are the same. Big boxy Empty rooms homes.
