Nice video of my home Pittsburgh aka Da Burgh, City of Bridges. alot of people don't know this but we may look small in population. But if you look at our city limit if it were expanded throughout the borrows and suburbs it would be at 1.25 million people. Though many of those places outside of the burgh consider themselves Pittsburghers anyway. And also the city is way more busier than this Mon-Sat this must of been a Sunday.

Random fact, at 16:30 at the intersection on the Blvd. of the Allies and Grant Street, you can see a red building with turquoise details on the roof, on the left hand side of the road. That is the last remnant of Pittburgh's Chinatown. Most of the Chinatown neighborhood was razed to build this on-ramp and intersection. It used to be a small but distinct part of the city.

I moved from Pittsburgh 30 years ago and this virtual visit is very nice. It is clean and beautiful, but it is quite sad to see the Downtown Kaufman’s with covered up windows, no Hornes Dept Store, and no Gimbels Dept Store. Going downtown at Christmas and roaming through those multi level Department Stores with their Christmas window displays and the Hornes’ tree and Jack Bogut’s Children’s Hospital Christmas fundraisers was a special part of growing up in Pittsburgh. I hope this was filmed on a Saturday because there are almost no people on the sidewalks. I remember the sidewalks to be very bustling with employees and shoppers on weekdays when I grew up and was in college.

Fnord Fnordington that’s a joke. Mississippi and West Virginia are conservative run states and are the poorest and most rundown in the nation. Boston, Seattle, Portland and many states run by Democrats rank much higher than their republican counterparts in education, poverty rates, health, etc. I’m not saying they’re perfect but don’t be so biased. There’s shitty cities and states run by both Democrats and Republicans.
