You mentioned they would need to come out with something new like a long one piece dash screen in order for you to consider a trade in. Guess what, 2024 X5M with the one piece long screen is here. What's your thought?

I saw they announced the new X5M. I think the front looks great, iDrive 8 looks great. I still think the rear of the current gen X5M looks better than the updated version just from what I've seen. Maybe will grow on me in person. It definitely has my interest. However, where we just got ours late '22 I think I'll have a hard time justifying getting an early updated version. Perhaps I'd be in the market for a '25, but yes definitely on my radar

@Matthew Brown I hear you. Other than the grill which i'm not so sure is better or worse and long screen, really not much of physical difference.

How is it compared to X3M Comp?

Power is crazy. X3M was already fast, but with the V8 you feel it more even at lower RPMs. Ride comfort is also much better. You can't go wrong with either, but you're definitely getting your money's worth with the X5M over the X3M

@@MatthewBrownVlogw bad is the ride comfort of the X3M? I want some thing that handles good but is not overly harsh. I currently have a 2021 Audi RS5 Sportback, and want to sit higher up. So it’s either between being able to afford the X3M or the 2024 X6 40i. I would get the M Sport package if getting the X6 40i. I can’t afford the new 2024 X6 M60i since it’s up to $114 k loaded now. So for now it’s between those two and if you can give me your opinion, I would appreciate it.

@@rockerjock79 My opinion would be if you're coming from an RS5 and you like that more sporty feel I would recommend the X3M. I did have an X5 M50 with the adaptive M suspension and it was super floaty which I was not a fan of. Both look great, I'm a fan of the looks of both, but my preference would always be M over non-M just because I like the driving feel better. I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea though

@@MatthewBrownVlog I just traded it in for the 2023 X4M Competition in Brooklyn Grey Metallic! I appreciate you giving me your opinion, as it definitely swayed me. The suspension is not harsh or rough imo so far. It's just very firm, but not to the point of not enjoyable. I actually enjoy the ride tbh. The dealership did scratch the piano black piece on the center console pretty bad, when prepping it, which I'm already not a fan of the piano black... but other than that the car looks and drives great. Thank you for your help!
