R249は被害箇所の多さと損傷規模の大きさから復旧には年単位の時間を要するそうで。道路復旧というよりルート変更せざるを得ない区間もあるでしょうし。 実は再編集そのものは昨年夏ころから着手していたものの、せっかくなら晴天の日に撮り直そうと思って中断していたのですが、まさかこんな事態になるとは思っていませんでした。

A fascinating drive, enjoyed a lot how the road alternates from nice coastal sections to the interior of the peninsula, offering a great view of how the landscape looks like in this part of Japan. The Great Earthquake on January 1st of this year caused extensive damage to the Noto Peninsula.Not only were roads damaged, but the land was uplifted by up to 4 meters, changing the topography and coastline. It is no longer possible to photograph the same scenery, and I think it will take more than two years to restore National Route 249, but the Noto Peninsula remains attractive. When things have recovered enough for sightseeing, I will go back to shoot videos, so please come back and watch the videos at that time. Thank you for always watching my videos!
