Driving in Lefkosa/Nicosia Cyprus | Cloudy Day | Turkish Territory | Divided Capital | 4k with Sound

Took a drive around the city of Lefkosa/Nicosia, on a cloudy Wednesday Morning of 16th of February, 2022. Here is a beef history about the Capital of Cyprus.
Lefkosa District is a district of Northern Cyprus.. Which in under the ruling of the Turkish Government called the Turkish Cypriot. Lefkosa or Nicosia is divided Capital of Cyprus, The Southern part is called Nicosia, while the Northern part is called Lefkosa.
The division of the Capital can be traced back to the conflict between Greek government an Turkish movement back to 1974.
After the conflict which started on 20th of July an lasted to 18th of August 1974.
The Island was then divided into two side, called the North an South Cyprus. The Northern part is under the Turkish ruling, while the South side is under the Greek ruling.
With the District of Lefkosa having a populations of 97,293 according to the 2011 census, which is currently increasing massively due to the increasing number of migrants an International Student who are studying in the country.
