The life you’re showing Toby? Just awesome bro. Love it

Thanks mate. I’m definitely trying to show him how to stay grounded as a person while giving him the experience he needs to be confident in whatever he wants to do in life. That got deep 😂

Solid front axles ftw, even if they are attached to a Jeep...... :)

A pair of chains would make a hell of a difference on those slippery climbs . What did you say happened to the 62’s transfer case ?
@Australian4x4Adventures Жыл бұрын
Chains take the fun out of things 😂. The transfer case split open after spiting a chain cog.
@jackofjr Жыл бұрын
Chains have got us out of the shit a few times , don't use them a lot , I only run std wheels and std size tyres on the 62 , there is not enough clearance on the front for chains . So the split transfer case he could keep driving ?

All good for having fun on the tracks 👍🏻 but to rip up that grass with Jeep I just can't see the point .
@Australian4x4Adventures Жыл бұрын
There was actually a track there he was trying to get up. But when he tried to back out he was caught in the ruts ( that were already there ). We could of kept trying an punched it a bit harder but we went for the winch in an effort to minimize damage

@@Australian4x4Adventures All good 👍🏻 must be a Jeep thing to get stuck on flat ground 😁😁😁. I enjoy your trips & the VHC holds a dear place in my heart 😵💫.

Thought u sold the y62

Haha. Nah haven’t sold it yet.

Seems like the jeep’s longer wheelbase helped more than its tire size. I wonder how a stretched 62 or 200 would go at it with at least rear lockers
@Australian4x4Adventures Жыл бұрын
I honestly think it was weight. The heavier cars had too much gravity against them to maintain traction. But yes the wheel base definitely did play a part
@jasonbarnes5605 Жыл бұрын
Wonder how my y61 with twin lockers would have compared with those vehicles on that track ? Always an interesting thought. Maybe the dickhead behind the wheel makes all the difference????
@Australian4x4Adventures Жыл бұрын
It’s very possible a y61 would of driven it. We went back the week later when it was dry and the y62s just walked up it. I think it was a weight and wheel base issue.

Why do u try and crawl obviously slippery tracks when momentum and speed are obviously your friend? As is high range 4.
@Australian4x4Adventures Жыл бұрын
Because I don’t like beating up my car. The other black 62 tried it at a faster pace and still didn’t make it any further then me so clearly speed doesn’t always help unless you’re willing to break something
@SHOCKcustoms Жыл бұрын
@Australian4x4Adventures noted. Usually momentum make a tremendous difference.
