LMFAO That Datsun is from my day. Literally gas, air, spark GO. No computer no limiter and happy to have brakes let alone ABS. Luv this Ireland Series

A lot of carbureted engines still have a limiter, you can run an electronic distributor with the limiter built in to the dizzy

Some later carbureted engines got ECMs but also you don't need an ECM to have a rev limiter, that can be done with an ignition module like an MSD 6AL

All you need to have limiter on a carbureted car is a msd box and distributor. set whatever rpm you want.
