3sg beams swap that thing, or go 20valve black top with a 7af block. That looks like the cleans kouki ae86 that I have seen that red and black is fire. Those things are super loud with those cannister style mufflers specially if you take out the silencer. And being a gtv model it comes with the lsd.

4AGE has to be one of the best sounding engines ever, congrats on the AE86 Adam!! ITBs and building the crap out of the engine sounds like it would be a ton of fun. There's a rally Starlet with a heavily built 4AGE in it pulling 11.3k RPM and it sounds absolutely nuts, by far my favourite sounding car.

I had an 85 sprinter as my first car WELL before I knew the history of them. Car was same age as me, even the same month! Had a tonne of fun in it rallying it on gravel here in west aus with my mates. Got it for $1000 & this brings me way back to one of the funnest times of my life So hyped to see what you do with this!!!

For an almost 40 year old car that was driven, its in a great state. I owned a US AE86 back in the early 2000s that wasn't in nearly as good condition as yours so. Just love this car, drive it, and don't do anything too wild to it (nothing that can't be undone at least), and it will take care of you.

I just have my .02 cents on what I would like. But shit since he’s Adam LZ and knows Tommyfyeah I would ask Tommy to try and find one of those long discontinued hks twin charger kits that they made for the 16v 4AGE back in the day. Supercharger for low boost and turbo for high boost. Now that would be fucking pump.

The 16v head is a great design, even though Toyota will never admit it the head is based of the old Cosworth BDA head with some port shape improvements.
