Very happy for you. I know the feeling. My Fastback had been spending too much time under a cover... I started working on it and taking care of lose ends, then starting driving it to work twice a week.... it's all good now. Nothing but happiness!

Mine brought a smile to my face the first time that I had it on the road last year. The last time it was registered and had a tag on it was 1984, so it had sat for a long time. Taking it for the drive really brought back memories. Congratulations Jeff.

Yay! Glad to see it out on the road. Drove ours to the cruise in yesterday, runs good, drives pretty good, love taking it out. Might take it out again next Saturday. Still has the slight harmonic vibration in the engine I haven't figured out yet. Want to replace any steering and suspension parts it may need (probably everything) and get an alignment. Do wish it had a four speed but oh well....

I boosted it to a 3.50 traction lok. But the car originally had a 3.25 traction lok. Ford would put nothing bigger than a 3.25 in cars that had AC. At least, that's what I understand.

I like it. I would like it more if it was a 351 Boss. But it's still cool. If I marry a 8 I don't complain that she ain't a ten.
@AutoRestoModАй бұрын
The engine is backed out much like a boss 351 but with a little lower compression and a lot more cam LOL. When we Dyno'd the engine, I think we got somewhere in the neighborhood of 350 or 360 horse at the flywheel. So, it's a little bit more than a Boss 351. This Mach one has an option that the boss 351 was not available with, which is air conditioning. A must in South Carolina. If I'm honest I'd rather have the Boss 351 as well.
@jesseduke694Ай бұрын
