It does, but it just depends on the field of view you are looking for. Center and high is probably the best position, but with reflections from the dash, you can lower it a bit.

@timexironman100m Жыл бұрын
No you can't wire all three camera to record. Camera only set up to take two inputs at once so you could technically wire three up but camera will only record and view from two. Some sort of micro switch on the USB into the camera feed might work but as mentioned you won't be able to record or stream from the three sources.

I use it every day, and have had zero overheating issues. It’s been over 110° this week and it’s working great. The on board battery is tiny it's only real use is to save the last video and power down the camera. If you were to use it as its only power source it last about ten mins on 1080p 99 % of power to run and record is on external power source. Ie cigarette light plug or hardwire kit.

This is the cabin view module. There’s a rearview module that has more of a zoom all the way through the back window, and a true rear view that actually attaches to the back window and only shows what’s out the back.

Hey! I'm looking into this, but I have one question: is it easy to hide the wires? I'm new to dashcams and don't really want a wire hanging down my windshield.
@BoldCanyonOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
I don’t know of a Dashcam setup that is witless that has the functionality and clarity of the Nextbase system. Honestly, the tiny bit of wire from the headliner to the mounting base is obscured by the rear view mirror and is unnoticed. Depending on your car and mounting location, the wire can easily be hidden in the top, side or bottom of the dash.

Hey Chris, I have two issues with using the dashcam. Can you help? I’m unable to change the date. I can’t find the option to change the date within the dashcam. 2.The shadows of my dashboard keeps appearing in the videos. Although the videos provide clear views of the road, I can see items I’ve mounted on my dashboard that are reflected through the shadows that are seen in the videos
@BoldCanyonOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Ok I’ll try to answer everything. First, to change the date, touch the settings gear, then on the next screen tap “setup” and you will have the option for time/date. Second, I have a Jeep with a fairly straight up windshield. Yes, it makes a difference where it is mounted. The further down and toward the front, the less reflections but you see more of the good. I would just go and find a spot where the sun is reflecting the gear on your dash and expireiment with a few different spots. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can answer any more questions.

Ok until someone breaks your window and steals the camera because you won’t see the footage on your phone because it needs to be close to the phone to connect to the camera??
@BoldCanyonOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
That is true, but no matter how secure you try to make something, of a thief wants it bad enough, it will get stolen. The primary function of this cam is security on the roads. The anti-tampering safety measures are a deterrent to crime, but obviously don’t make it crime-proof.
