Beena Salkate Hello Beena, yoga for sure has a wonderful effect in pallative care. Pranayamas is a best practice for this condition. Also she can practice the chair yoga which helps to keep her healthy. Ask her to practice this for 3weeks and do not forget to tell me how she feels after that. Dr. Jasmine

Really am very grateful to you. if your time permits can u plz give me protocol or time table to practice meditation, exercise, Surya namaskara, yogasana & Pranayama for a full week period am really confusing & struggling in this regard

Hi Deepu, I am really happy to hear the videos are helping you. Please continue to watch my channel for more videos. I will work to provide this soon for you. In the meantime, I would suggest meditation once a week, perhaps on Wednesdays. Asanas and Pranayamas can be practiced for an hour; Monday and Friday. Surya Namaskar twice a week; Tuesday and Thursday. Breathing techniques; on Saturday Sunday can be reserved for any missed session or you can select a video that you love to do as a treat for your hard work and committment. Dr Jasmine

Dear Trishika Kumar, it is best to avoid practising surya namskar during menstruation. Your body needs rest during this cycle and vigourous yoga can increase the bleeding. Dr Jasmine

Hello Leela Harish, Yes you can practice pranayama any time of the day except after meals. It better to practice atleast an hour after your meals. You can practice pranayama on its own. Dr. Jasmine.

I would recommend watching the Obesity video in Kannada (kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4uWdKahocZ9rZo) and even the Surya Namaskar videos (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJTUd5psgamAhpY and this video). These practices are very beneficial to reduce fat around the hips, thighs, arms and stomach. Dr Jasmine

If you dont mind can I ask why you want practice bakasana if you concentrating on weight reduction? Just curious. Bakasana is a balancing and advanced pose. If you are concentrating on weight reduction then there are many simple poses that give wonderful results for weight reduction. Hi Shweta. After the stream I had typed a few replies. I checked this morning and it didn't appear. Sorry. I mentioned you could drink 1 glass of water about 20 mins before your session. Any more water or drinking closer to the session, could cause discomfort whilst practicing. Dr Jasmine

Hello Chidananda, Cooling pranayamas are beneficial for this condition. Vamana dhauti is a very useful practice for gastritis. Avoid eating hot and spicy food, bland,alkaline and timely food can help her. With regards to gastritis, its always helpful and beneficial to find out the cause behind it. Gatritis is a result of wrong food habits and lifestyle. I can suggest few remedies to help her but till you correct the mistakes in her lifestyle and food habits you cannot find a permanent cure. Hello Chidananda prasad, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. The age at which you first menstruate has a hereditary influence. It usually depends on what age the mother or grandmothers had their first cycles. If the reports are normal then you need not worry. Yoga practices can help in regulating this cycle and process. Kindly ask her to practice suryanamaskara kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJTUd5psgamAhpY and also the poses taught in my video on yoga for menstrual pain kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJXYk5l3a5yIpZI are beneficial for this condition. Heating and balancing pranayamas can be included as a part of her yoga practice. I would suggest you to first try with these yoga practices and also nutritious diet( more with dry fruits)for few months. And then if it doesnt work thenwe can start the medication. Hello Akshata, sorry for the late response. In suryanamaskara video, I have explained this mistake and how to correct it. You might be bending from your upper back instead of your waist. Try and watch this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJTUd5psgamAhpY ( Suryanamaskara with common mistakes) and see if its useful. And also to touch your toes it might need a little time. Contonuous practice for a week after correcting your mistake can help you to reach your toes. Try and do this and let me know how you feel. If you still find it hard then I can suggest other techniques. Dr. Jasmine.

Hello Puneeth Kumar CS, Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for your suggestion. I will surely try and post videos with more asanas and other practices. Teaching all the asanas in one video would be difficult. And also since I teach yoga remedies for various conditions I concentrate more on teaching asanas that are beneficial for that particular condition instead of just teaching all the asanas.
