I know you may not even see this, but I'm a pre-med student and have been losing motivation to continue on with med school because of the scary workload and all the stress and pressure it's been giving me. But seeing your videos made me feel like I can one day be like you and this definitely reminds of why I chose medicine in the first place. So I just wanted to say to that thank you for spending time to make videos of your medical journey!!! especially for those aspiring to work in the field ~~~ really appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Jenny! I've been watching you as a pre-med and now I'm an OMS-1. I'm an older med student and I'm scared of starting a family somewhere down the road because of how busy the schedule can be. Your videos always motivate me and reassure me that it's possible to balance work and life. I'm also feeling the competitive vibe from my classmates who "want to help you but not want you to be better than them". Hopefully this too shall pass and I'll still have some few good friends from school. Wyatt is so cute! Wish you all the best with residency!

I'm so sorry to hear about Wyatt and your husband not feeling well. A few months ago my son and I both had stomach bugs and it was NOT fun at all! I hadn't had one since I was kid myself so when my son had it I felt so bad for him because he seemed so miserable. I completely understand how you feel. I'm so happy to hear that you're having such a positive experience with the spectra! I had a very similar experience as well and look forward to using it again with baby #2. i absolutely LOVE your videos, Jenny! I always look forward to them and they're so inspiring : )

I love the mommy pieces of your vlogs because they are soooo relatable. Your son is adorable, I can't believe how he's already so big!!! Every stage of a baby is precious, but especially these moments full of adorable cuddle sessions (later they'll be more excited for things and give you a quick kiss to run off and play) enjoy this as much as possible! The ending talk was very insightful. I hate that it's a "dog eat dog" world in medschool. Everything is so secretive and looking at everyone else as competition, not fully wishing well for them or wanting to help them... and it all starts from the application period. I hate this so much because I'm going through it. Especially as a mom people have laughed at me that I should aim for nursing instead ☹️

Jenny Le sorry so late!! For breakfast I alternate between oatmeal, I’ve made him soyrizo (chorizo) scrambled with one egg, homemade pancakes that only require a few ingredients, the store bought waffles (I put yogurt on top so that he’ll eat it. Lol) Lunch I’ll do pb&j, grilled cheese with steamed broccoli in the inside, yogurt, cheese cut in small cubes, sometimes the soyrizo, steamed broccoli, carrots, sweet potato, boiled chicken breast and shredded. Lunch is hard because there’s not much options! Dinner is even harder 🤦🏽♀️: All steamed veggies, slow cooked beef and shred it, boiled chicken shredded, Mexican rice with ground turkey mixed in, I’ve tried enchiladas (not as spicy), beef stew, chicken soup.

Would you say it matters where you get your undergrad degree from if you want to higher your chances to get into med school? The school I applied too (and got accepted) is considered to be "lesser than" compared to another major university in my city. Or would you say just get good grades and get lots of work/volunteer experience? I would like to attend this school because of the smaller class sizes...and I am currently working as an assistant to a doctor at a clinic for the experience. But I also do not want to waste my time if they won't even look at me because of the university I attended.
@drjennale6 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t matter the school. It’s more important to get good grades and build you CV.
@Aznnvazn996 жыл бұрын
Also important to look at statistics to see if there are students from that school that get accepted into medical school. Some colleges/universities have a really low track record for that stuff
