It seems to me to help by having a understand of calculus also . For example if we look at speed vs time and take the derivative we get velocity if the velocity is zero we have a flat no slope section of the graph

what does area under different graphs show??? For example:- area under velocity time graph show displacement. i want to know about the other two.
@carultch2 жыл бұрын
Area under velocity vs time graph shows displacement Area under acceleration vs time graph shows change in velocity Area under displacement vs time graph, would show a kinematics quantity that we generally don't learn about in introductory physics. There is a term for it called absement. In kinematics, absement is a measure of sustained displacement of an object from its initial position, i.e. a measure of how far away and for how long. The word absement is a compound word from absence and displacement. There are practical applications of absement. One application is proportional-integral-derivative control loops, where the integral control term is using absement as a basis for a feedback signal.

2:31 why acceleration is negative ? and also positive?
@DrJennCash6 жыл бұрын
This is a graph which does not have a constant acceleration. In some regions, the acceleration is positive. In other sections, it shows a negative acceleration. This is probably a more complex graph than many you might expect to see in real life, but I want to show what the various features look like. When the graph is curved facing upwards, it is changing from a negative slope to a positive slope (which is a positive change and thus a positive acceleration). When the graph is curved facing downwards, it is changing from a positive slope to a negative slope (which is a negative change and thus a negative acceleration).

For Heaven's sake, stop complaining on your class teachers. Every video on KZbin contain such a preposterous statements. It's really sick. The one who is teaching you right now on KZbin, has also learnt it from someone in the class. It was your fault that you didn't pay attention that time and now complaining. Find what was and what is wrong with you and stop blaming others.
