Oi, Dr. Jon. Acabei de me inscrever no seu canal. Esse vídeo trata também casos de diástase abdominal ou o senhor já gravou algo específico sobre o assunto? Minha diástase é de 11 anos atrás. Tenho chance de melhorá-la? One last thing: your explanations are quite simple and straightforward to follow, your voice sounds soothing and therapeutic and you always present yourself in a calm and reassuring demeanor that gives us confidence. The KZbin world needs more professionals like you! Keep on!

I've been working on this issue for years due to very poor posture habits from childhood. Never seen this exercise before and when I tried it I could feel the difference. Some of the positioning of the abs reminds me of exercises for diastasis recti.

What would be a good cue to remember to maintain good posture? Pushing shoulders back doesn’t seem to be correct, so I’ve been opening up my solar plexus as cue, however, the pelvic tilt always seems to come with any posture cue I try to implement.

@@drjonsaunders Doctor, I hope you're having a nice day. I have noticed that this pelvic tilt affects me even when lying on a flat mattress. I don’t use a pillow in order to fix my posture, but unfortunately, this posture seems to be attached to my body like glue my chest and ribs look funny when i lie. Will exercising with your video and being mindful of my posture of how I stand, sit, and move make an improvement? because am really seem to be used to stand that way too it feels normal and the right posture but looks wrong in the mirror

What i hate on not only ATP exercises. But all rehabilitation exercises. They title the videos like THIS ONE EXERCISE WILL DO IT FOR YOU ! then proceed to show 8 exercises and variants. What they dont say is....whether 1 of these done consistently is enough and if done that way how long till you see results ? 4 weeks ? 3 months ? 4 years ? In this video there's variation 1# variant 2# and ive no clue if ive got to be doing all these variants by giving up my job or one of these consistently is enough. But i laud your intention and videos and time spent trying to help people, irrespective of it building you a brand name while your at it.

You definitely have a valid point...the best way to get specific help for a specific problem is to get professional help. However, videos are the next best thing for those who cannot access a health professional. Best wishes.

Interesting, I was following a KZbin routine with 8 different exercises, including chin tucks, cobra poses, over and backs, etc for a week. Found out that those chin tucks don't exactly work, leading me to question the validity of the entire routine. So instead, I think I'll try your single exercise here. This corrects pelvic tilt and neck posture, right? And also, is just doing this single exercise everyday enough?
@drjonsaunders9 ай бұрын
Yes, if your posture configuration is simple, this should be enough...you can do thos 2-3 times per day. If you want more specific recommendations, please see your local corrective care chiropractor. Best wishes.

Exercises defenitely can not fix my anterior pelvic tilt. It is a brain input issue that needs one to several years of correct 24/7 posture alignment and avoid sitting in order to fix it.
@drjonsaunders10 ай бұрын
I wish you all the best in your journey...take care!
@wendyk12219 ай бұрын
You’re absolutely right that it’s a “brain input” issue, but wrong that exercise can’t help you. If you are mentally convincing yourself that exercises don’t help, of course you’re always going to stay the same way. Actively and consciously choose to exercise, train the areas that need training and your posture can and WILL improve. Only you, your brain, and your choices are preventing yourself from getting better. Good day.

Hi sir, please help me out. I have an anterior pelvic tilt. When I walk, people tell me that I walk like a gay, but I am not gay. Can this difficulty in walking occur because of an anterior pelvic tilt? Is this Because my abdominal muscles are weak and hips tilted??
