Here’s a fingerprint hack: when adding a fingerprint, switch between two fingers when setting it up, so you get two fingerprint in one. Trust me, it works.

The absolute first thing you should do, before unboxing, is to put on a pair of gloves such as food preparers use. That way, you will not get any fingerprints on your new phone before you put the protective covers on it. That's what I did and my phones are pristine in their cases.

Very true. I have the 8 plus myself. Do the wobble test with your tips of your fingers on the back of the glass. My iPhone 8 Plus really doesn’t slide around. The glass allows it to stick like a kind of glue to my fingers. The only downside is if you have greasy fingers😂🤷‍♂️.

I just bought my FIRST Iphone yesterday but will take 7 days before it arrives. It is a basic Iphone 8+ 256GB Space Gray. First ever, I have a Mate 10 Pro but want to try one of these Iphones. The X or X2 if they keep the notches I will never upgrade but I figured the 8 will last me 2 years before they figure out the X and I might upgrade then :). Shane - There is about 20% wasted space, above & below your iPhone screen, looking at my laptop screen. If your iPhone screen were a little closer to your camera, that 20% would be eliminated; the 20% wasteland would be filled with your (then larger) iPhone screen. This would make it easier to read the small lettering on your screen. Thx!

Do you really feel comfortable allowing Swiftkey Keyboard to keep a record of absolutely everything you type on your phone? I loved the idea of swipe typing, but not at the cost of them having everything I type, including credit card numbers and other private information! For me the most frustrating thing about this phone is having to go through five steps to find out if I have any voice mails. My old TracFone used to alert me on my home page to the existence of a voice mail. This phone simply tells me I missed a call but doesn't indicate whether there is a voice mail or not. I've been known to miss a message for three or four days because I wasn't aware it was there! If TracFone had the technology to let me know on my home screen that there was a voice mail message, why doesn't Apple??
