DROKZ - STAY DIRTY

I’m not the one to complain or comment a lot, but i need this off my chest. I’ve tried really really hard to like the modern hardcore sound with those “zaag/uptempo/piepkicks” for a while now, but I just can’t. I’ve done my best to embrace it, but it’s just not for me (and that’s fine). I also don’t want to hate it, because even tough I personally don’t like it, I understand other people do and that it has its place in the scene. But what does bother me, is the feeling that it is getting forced on every hardcore enthousiast. Nearly every hardcore party/festival/event/.. has to focus around uptempo, while other genres are more and more left behind. I really hope all the other genres of hardcore (early, millennium, terror,…) get more love again, so in the future everyone can still enjoy their favorite hardcore sound to the fullest. Therefore, thank you opa Drokz for keeping it real with killer tracks like this. Hopefully you get to close the main at Thunderdome again, so we can sloop those speakers! 🙏🏻👊🏻

Same stuff. I'm into the scene for less than a year (began with hardcore), but would rather listen to outright noise than uptempo. HC/ND
