Lucky thing you got it filmed in "winter" there. The day was much like a normal england day so it kept the overall Doctor Who mood! I wouldn't find it appealing if it were one of those hellish summer days of Brazil.

this is actually funny bc the day i visited christ the redeemer there was a guy dressed as an angel and i asked him if he could take a picture doing the infamous "weeping pose" and he asked what it meant bc a whole bunch of other people asked for the same thing. great moment to geek out in front of hundreds of people tho he didn't pose in the end but i still left a tip.

This is very cool! It's a shame, though, that I can't go to any of these tours. ;-; In an episode, the 11th meant to go with Amy and Rory to Rio but ended up landing somewhere else (I think it was the "Hungry Earth" episode). They should have an episode where the Doctor actually does go to Rio, eventually. Well, maybe not Rio, but anywhere in Brazil would be fun to have in an episode, eventually. Doesn't need to be a famous city. (Famous cities are too overused when a film is shot in Brazil. I'm kind of tired of always seeing the same locations.)
