Drone footage from the flooding and rain that postponed the Huset's Speedway weekend

Rain pounded the Brandon, S.D., area over the last couple of days with more in the forecast. The flooding and scheduled precipitation through Saturday morning forced speedway officials and the World of Outlaws to postpone this weekend's High Bank Nationals. Hopefully, everybody is safe and this prestigious event can be rescheduled.

i'll probably get ripped 4 this, but everyone knew & saw this forecast well in advance. why not just look to reschedule & avoid what we're seeing in this video? i got burned once in 2016 & vowed never again. now i wait until the week of & check the weather before going. i haven't gotten burned since.

I drove 400 miles on Wednesday, watched a good show. Looked at the weather and headed back home. Will be back when they get another date set.

Who thought it would be a good idea to have families camping in a campground built with a creek running through it with major rain forcastwd for days. Lawyer up and then borrow the money to put a gaint buried concrete box colvert in, if that would even work. May have to go at it several ways to fix it if that is even possible. Lucky no one got hurt. When's the races rescheduled for.....heheh😮

All of the designated paths between the campsites were so chewed up that it was tough for anything with highway tires to get by. When we finally saw the river come over, it was a move to just get out, even if leaving campers behind. Didn't get me wrong, some got out, but with a few of our setups, it would have done more damage or blocked the road for everyone if we got hung up.
