Good thing Vermont didn’t have any infrastructure to begin with! And I’m from & living in Vermont. The only shame…that the few locals left, who have so little are now truly hurting even worse & Vermont isn’t really at the top of the federal government’s “States to care about” list. Maybe this flood will usher in a “I give a crap about Vermont” on behalf of the politicians of the state…doubtful though.

I sure would like to see the Plymouth area Lake Rescue, Echo Lake, Amhearst Lake and see how there doing. They are a major tourist attraction. And Woodstock. My family had a camp on top of Messer Road in Plymouth back in the 60's. Now when we vacation that's where we go to Plymouth, Woodstock, Queechie Gorge. Vermont is a beautiful magical place I have tried living there but not many Electronic Engineering jobs there and the winters are very harsh. I know Vermont will come back from this they are the toughest people in the country. Wishing you the best of luck my family loves Vermont!

Due to the brilliant leadership in Vermont This extreme flooding will undermine the foundation of Vermont yankee nuclear plant, causing too much damage to the already leaking casks or containment vessels, of spent core rods,sea brook is also a disaster, Within a 200 mile radius of either plant all will have to evacuate, older nuclear plants are not safe

Thays my blue ford taurous next to the red car at cumbys ... i was trapped on the wall there for 12 hours had to be rescued. By boat

Lol!!! I’m from Vermont so I feel I can say, I get it! On the other hand…there are those in Vermont, that are already hurting. If more flooding brought the changes so badly needed in VT I’d say yes though. Unfortunately, floods won’t bring back the mills, the jobs lost to NAFTA, revenue Vermont never really had. I call it…The Little State that Couldn’t. If you venture up north, you’ll find a special place…called the NEK or North East Kingdom. I call that the “place dreams go to die”. One main road in, no way out for many. Vermont has become “one of places”, despite knowing some very good people there & being born & raised in the Green Mountains. It’s not even close to what I remember it being. Is anywhere’s?
