Drones have changed our world. But as someone who grew up in the wilds of East Africa..and traveled many times into the "outback"..It always felt like we were intrepid explorers..seeing amazing people and places that few had seen. The fear I have is that with the ability to explore earth so much more now with drones..that the "awe" of earths wonders are more likely to be spoiled. We lived near the "lip plate" tribes..and they have been overrun by tourists..Life has changed completely..and not all for the better.

There's a pink lake in Serbia, about an hour's drive from where I live. People there were drilling a well and accidentally hit the underground source of salty, pink water. If you check Google maps, yes there is a lake called Pink Lake near Esperance, but if you head east back towards South Australia you can see Lake Hillier on Middle Island. Pink Lake appears aqua, while Lake Hillier is pink in colour 😊

You make a good scientific point here. There is no vegatation around but rocks. Could a poisonous gas have killed a herded number who went in for shelter during a storm? But this electricity by you I have seen it before killing animals where they stood. I am going to agree with you and that place looks good for being a conductor.
