It's getting to the point in NJ that before you fly you're going to need a law degree. A simple 20 minutes flight can turn into an hour long Q&A with law enforcement. If what you're doing is legal, like driving 25mph in a school zone, become an interrogation if you're flying a drone? So annoying.

I worked a case in which a man shot a Florida Power and Light drone conducting power line checks in Palm Beach FL. PBCSO tried to sweep it under the rug and the FBI didn't take the case (felony) This actually happened in May but we didn't find out about it until December. Law Enforcement didn't report it

The SP announced announced harsh charges and penalties up until the very last moment when they basically they threw everything out and let the guy off the hook 🤬

The FAA has added a patchwork of TFR's all over New Jersey, be sure to check out the TFR's before flying there. Read the TFR's, they have worded them to allow remote pilots (Part 107) to fly in the TFR's but you have to inform the controlling agency what your job/mission is. Be sure to read them first, before you fly. They have phone numbers to call if you have any questions.

If the bill authorizes the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to place DJI's drones on its covered list for 2026 (assuming that his happens), meaning retailers would no longer be able to import them, which would be prohibited from connecting to US networks, and their internal radios would no longer be authorized by the FCC. 100% true. I too, part 107 pilot and have been flying for many years, saw two of these "drones" flying directly over me. They too were at an altitude of probably 150-200 ft (using trees as the reference and in an area I fly regularly). There's no way they were adhering completely to regulations because of a few reasons, but the main one being they had to be BVLOS from the pilot based on where they came from and where they went unless said pilot was standing on a water tower or some other elevated position. The lighting was also incorrect for a plane/helicopter. They were only flying with solid red. No greens. No strobes. So it's a real thing, but I too wish it would die because it's affecting me personally, especially with the TFRs now as one is right in an area I do real estate work.

I trained to get my 107 with you. Practice exams were very helpful. As far as these drone sightings there are many theories, but one thing is undeniable. Someone knows in the government, but this subject is the highest of clearance levels. From what I've gathered there has been mass sightings of these car sized "Orbs" silently moving with no means of propulsion, they have been seen to shoot off from standstill at speeds anywhere from 2 to 3,000 G force with no heat signature, making them 100% efficient. For a good example pull up the Israeli UFO at the dome of the rock. It looks almost cartoonish the way they speed off. They have been depicted back during WW2 As "Foo Fighters", and even shown in old biblical paintings. I think the drones are a secret faction of the black budget government to inspect these things safely. They could also be sending drones up as a way to take the attention away from the Orbs so that one refers to them ALL as drones. If this is the case you might ask yourself why is this so classified? According to these recent revelations of ex Pentagon, US Naval Intelligence, etc have shown is that we have craft not made on this planet in our possession with most intact and others just in pieces, even dead bodies of flesh creatures. When asked were these locations are or who they could talk to to get them closer Lou elizondo and David G stated they can advise in a secured briefing not publicly. The answer to the question is that if they had these in their position for over 70 years and they are in fact engaged in a decade-long arms race on which nation that has these could reverse engineer to this technology is a national security risk. Of course there is also the risk of people losing their minds at the thought. I think I would be fine provided I know they are friendly. When the Chinese spy balloons came through There were a couple orb-like things that were shot down where they truly did not know what they were. Other people from the late '80s that came out as whistleblowers with congressional protection such as Bob Lazar stated what he worked on and tried to understand its operational capabilities was a antimatter reactor within a miniature particle accelerator with the output sent through microwave wave guides along the archway of the craft which provided a bit of shield, the output is then led to the lower deck where it feeds three trash can sized emitters of gravity type A wave. This was a disk style, Not like the orbs. So it's eerie to consider that more than one species of travelers have visited Earth, there is even talk that some live within the Earth. They have been detected for years at nuclear installations even shutting down ready nuclear ballistic missiles at Maelstrom Air Force Base for example (see story). Also another event in Russia where it put all of their silos in launch mode then suddenly stopped and lo and behold several of those orbs were hovering right above it. Same characteristics were noted that these do not emit any heat or any form of radio frequency. If someone in a aircraft were to approach instrumentations and electronics start to fail, possibly from a electromagnetic type field effect. There's also explanation that there is in these drones to hunt for radioactive material but I think that there is starting to go by the wayside because these orbs are showing up everywhere in the world including a recent setting by aircraft commercial pilots at Eugene Oregon (listen to the cock pit recordings). I also thought that what we might look at as alien could really be extra dimensional beings, maybe ourselves from the future to come back and view a major event here on this planet? Who knows what technological capabilities there are in the future? That is the part that scares me, because if it is that then I fear that some major catastrophe is pending. What started the same as science fiction feels like it's becoming reality to me, and it's an ominous feeling. These herbs have been detected through the centuries from biblical times and even the story of the Macedonian army with Alexander the Great at the walls of a city off the coast of Turkey that was blasted by one of these orbs as of to allow them in for conquer. There's a lot of bits and pieces that I have researched over time to where I don't know what to believe. The NASCA lines, the great pyramid at the Giza plateau which some people, geologist specifically, have stated that they believe the Great pyramids to be more than two ice ages old which puts it around 20 to 30,000 years. The weird part is they believe in these circles that the pyramid served a functional purpose, not for burial. What exactly was the ark of the covenant? Who really sent the instructions for the assembly of that? Who was the luminous force that hovered above the fleeing Jews from Egypt providing them with food and water for their journey?

@williamhesbach40729 күн бұрын
Yes, you can continue to fly recreationally, but you can't fly commercially without your Part 107 certification. If you start flying commercially, no low weight limit will exclude you from needing a Part 107 certification.
@BHPilot829 күн бұрын
To add further, yes if you add anything with mass (other than stickers) it will throw the weight above 0.55 lbs/250 g. That means even if flying recreationally you still have to register the drone. Please look up videos (Pilot Institute has them) on the difference between flying recreationally and commercially. They help you understand what constitutes recreational flying and commercial flying. Commercial flying doesn't always mean you make money from it. Congrats on your drone and remember to take the TRUST test if you haven't already. Happy flying! 👍

I explained on a post on another video, that most likely the drones in New Jersey are home built or open source drones and they are probably around 1 to 3 feet in size. Of course I am just guestimating and I don't know for sure. The truth is that the U.S. military should consider these drones as test of their airborne drone detection and tracking equipment! And if the U.S. military doesn't have such equipment, then by golly in this day and age they need to build some! Its all very simple. When the war in Ukraine started, I said in my posts that they need to send them air defenses! But did anyone listen? Never! And look at the results! Finally I say: Yes I agree the NJ drone sightings are probably just hysteria. Because after all eyewitness reports are notoriously unreliable! I am not so sure that its a good idea to just stop talking about a subject, but the truth is that a lot of the media and videos on KZbin are paranoid lies and almost no one listens to reason any more!

I wish people would stop calling them drones as it's giving recreational drones a bad wrap. The reason people are getting hyped up is because these things are not flying like normal aircraft and aren't showing up on apps like flightradar24. I can usually identify at least 6 of these flying with not one showing up as a commercial plane. they are flying low and slow, spaced evenly apart and appear to be up to something. I'm seeing them in rural areas where seeing an aircraft at low altitude is rare, nevermind seeing 6 of them in the sky flying low altitudes at the same time every night. I suppose your not aware of how many of these craft are flying without transmitting any id whatsoever ............. you have no idea what your talking about.

Nah man. You don’t just stop talking about all those drones until there are some answers. You think you can stop anything by not talking about it? How about a war? Don’t talk about it… lol

All this " explanation" is not explaining sudden outburst of number of drones in the past month over NJ. Besides, after issued ban on drone flying , drones will fly unimpeded.Recall my word.

The NJ Drone situation is great b/c people are learning that they need to stop threatening to remove us from the sky. Flying drones is legal.

You don't. sub 250g don't require registration, you only need a certificate.

The Walmart drone story seemed to me like the drone was spending way too much time hanging around. The man said it hung around for 10 minutes. It did, for sure, hang around long enough for him to go inside and get his gun, come out, take aim, and shoot it. So… why was the drone hanging around so long? I believe if I was flying my drone and was hanging around for no reason for that much time, I would be charged voyeurism. Given the situation in NJ, if I was the guy being fined, I would fight it and if I was the judge, I would make Walmart tell me why they were hanging around for so long. It also begs the question if delivering packages via drone is a good idea at all or not. Do you really want to see a drone for each and every UPS, Fed-Ex, and USPS package being delivered up in the air? That just seems like utter chaos and it is all just to save a few dollars for paying drivers. It just seems tremendously inefficient and ineffective.
