I have this charger as well. If you select balance on the lipo menu, it will automagically detect how many cells there are! I would make a strong suggestion to anyone wanting to use balance boards as i do to have a good lipo tester and practice good battery maintenance. Awesome vids and keep up the amazing and inspiring work my friend.

i have one since 7 months or so. initially i loved it! but BE AWARE! it has killed my LiHV lipo's. for some reason after some time it decided that one cell is at 4.5xx and the rest of the cells are around 3.8xx whilst they are all in balance and in the 4.2xx/4.3xx region, and tries to balance them out by charging the lower cells. resulting in over charging the cells and killing the lipo's. the charger does it randomly, one time you can charge without any problems, and 10 charges later it goes awash. always, always, always keep an eye on your individual cell voltage at all times during charging, if a cell is getting way up or down in voltage compared to the other cells, stop charging! also: the charger does not charge at 10Amps when connected to an AC power source (home outlet) it only does 10amp with a sufficient DC power source. ps i got a toolboxrc M8 now and it is great!

FYI - PB is the chemical symbol for lead :) Looks like a pretty cool charger but man I wish more dual channel chargers these days had regenerative discharge... Such a handy feature for when you're trying to storage discharge multiple full packs of different cell counts after a days flying..

I just got one of these, on AC it doesn't do 10amp! Quite disappointing really. I've got some 6s 6000mah lipos and with 2 on charge it does 3.2amp each channel. Plus it doesn't bleep when they're done you have to keep checking the screen? And also on storage it doesn't store at 3.85v like the default setting, its stores at around 3.80 and not balanced very well. But for a cheap charger its ok. I would recommend this for smaller lipos up to 3000mah. Anything bigger will just take ages to charge.

Be careful! Don't connect battery before swich on the charger! I accedantely made that mistake. The charger blown up. The charger has no fuse inside, something evaporate from the supply circuit. It was expensive lession, that's why i share my paintful experience! Other way that was a good charger, that may have a better protection.

i have this one like half of year... im sooo unsatisfied...my reasons: 1- every time i unplug from channel 2 it goes alarms saying reverse polarity....so i turn it off when i wont to unplug ch 2 2- balancing lipos is horrible, one cell is 4,18 and other 4,23...... 3: cables was horrible and broken, had to replace all of them, they were all broken.... 4- my piece dont work with DC so no field charging, tried to replace that cables too, wont work for me... 5- every time i wont to charge i need to w8 few seconds to check if it is working, sometimes just time run and no input power , the line go straight and lipos dont charge, in that case i push stop, then start again, usually it work 2nd time.. .so my conclusion is: buy ISDT or something else, this work but definitely no flawlessly

Nice charger. But mine has issues handling 6s lihv... almost gets to end then reports battery disconect. Most functions like discharge seem to have same issue too. Have you found the same?

Mine just says battery disconnect all the time will not even charge a battery.

BONUS USE: I have this charger and use it to power my TS-100 solder iron through the XT-60 port on the right side. I know that is suppose to be the DC input, but I plug the TS-100 in there and it works. Been using it that way for several months without problems.

I have not. I do have a multi-meter, so if you tell me how to do it, I'll be happy to check. I'm kind of a functional illiterate when it comes to electricity.

You have to hit save 2 times for it to save it. And if you just plug in the batter it will auto select what battery it is man. If you didnt know that

If I had that charger, I would have to straighten out the display. I am surprised that you see this quite often(minor defects). It could have shifted during shipment but greater care should be taken on units sent out for review.

Greater care should be taken on all units. Taking extra care on review units is a really bad thing.

I have a life span over the output power of each port of this charger. It is 150W, but I would like to know if I can get 150W on one of the ports only. Or, how two ports do I get the 150W? Therefore, each port can deliver 75W which is delivered as 150Ws. Or can you get 150W with one port only? Because you want to plug 4 1500mw batteries into one port only and send one port only 75W doesn't have my right design. Thank you very much.

Bought one because everyone was recommending them. Have gotten nothjng but battery disconnect errors so i returned it and got another... same error. Tested it with multiple batteries including a fresh premium brand. I am pretty sure i should just return this one as well. Unless i am missing something. I ha e watched as many videos on YT as i could find on it so pretty sure i have the opperaration sussed. A bit baffled and Disapointed i really like this charger... theoretically anyhow. Thanks for the review itbwas well done and i enjoyed it

Good review about on the charger. Don't listen to him for care of your Lipos. Always balance charge and at 1c. He is not balance charging and at a rate of just under 2c. Batters will not hold all of the potential when being used like this.

@@rc3151 check to make sure the battery is plugged in completely properly with the balance board and everything and then after that try using a app on your phone called lipo safe to do all the calculating for you. 😂 that's about all I've got so far LOL. I mainly fly Micro Drone's 1s in house .
