Mr Prince, you are absolutely right about the importance of getting the private sector involved in drone production. ISW recently mentioned how Ukraine has leveraged a decentralized model of drone production where private companies are given free reign to innovate new technologies to be utilized on the battlefield. Russia on the other hand is using a centralized model where only a few state owned companies are producing drones. Up until this point, Ukrainian drones have outperformed Russian drones once we control for mass. Hopefully the US and its allies can adopt a similar model in the near future.

I can in nerd theory destroy a city for cheap. A FOAB has a blast radius of 300m. Fargo is about 131.5 square KM's. You would need about 469 Prop driven wooden FOABS at a cost of about 100,000 each to level Fargo. LMAO. This would cost aboot 48 Million USD. Pretty cheap ordnance eh there buddy?

The first experimental armed drones flew in WW1. Armed drones were used by the Navy in WW2. Armed drones were used in Vietnam. So, they have been around a really long time, but technology and doctrine have always been roadblocks. Those roadblocks are gone. Pandora's box just didn't get cracked open, the lid got ripped off.
