Always friends with the sheep herders they had a team of horses that would pull out a stuck truck sometimes would offer you lunch a bowl of beans and homemade bread the automatic dishwasher was amazing they throw the dishes outside and the sheep dogs would lick them clean..

As a resident of New Jersey, drone capital of the universe, I haven't seen any drones. But, then again, I'm not the brightest bulb on the Christmas Tree. There sure is a lot of hysteria. Back in Autumn of 1938 a fellow named Orson Wells did a radio show about Martians invading New Jersey. Everybody thought it was real. Maybe this drone thing is a giant hoax. Yet, most likely not. Whatever the cause, what's so special about New Jersey besides the mob, tomatoes, and the Jersey Devil. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I also use a come along and I use an old sock with two big rocks I hang over the cable so if it snaps it doesn't come back and smack you. Be safe and thanks for another great video thanks

That's a good idea. That synthetic winch rope is supposed to be save it breaks. Probably smack ya good, but not cut you in half! That come-a-long cable is steel though.

Glad you got out of it. Years of experience goes a long way in bad situations. A 12 volt winch would be nice to have. I have a HD come a long that I used to pull my semi truck one time. Can't beat a good winch or come a long when you're stuck. Have a Blessed Day Friend! Justin

Might be time to put on some snow chains. Don’t like when the car starts to slide uncontrollably. That’s some slick snow. Noticed when we moved to North Idaho the snow up here is super slick and wet. The southern Idaho snow is dry and powdery most of the time. Plus the ground for the most part isn’t steep. Thanks for sharing. Take care, see ya :)

I got a set of those “X bull” tracks and they help a lot when I get hung up in the snow. They just stay in the bed of my truck the last few years. They are cracked and melted in a few places but still work when I need them. I know exactly what you mean when you say the snow is deeper than it looks and the roads are steeper.

They are kinda pricey for some plastic you just run over, but they have gotten me out of trouble several times...of course enabling me to never learn my lesson to stay out of trouble in the first place! That's the differentials. a 4wd is really only 2wd most of the time. True 4wd where all 4 are turning, needs lockers that stop the spider gears from turning.

Hopefully You Both had a MERRY CHRISTMAS. Here’s to a better 2025. Keep your chin up Muskrat life will get better. Forget about what we can’t change. I have decided I’m letting GOD handle it all. (Very hard for me right now so much going on) Our Christmas was good, well I ended up in the ER for 12 hours on Christmas Eve. I caught the stomach bug (the worst our hospital has seen) But we were all together & had a Great Christmas. Then yesterday the entire family one bye one got sick.. All 4 of them. (I did get some more testing done on my more serious issues & will need surgery). Our Granddaughter is doing much better compression socks are keeping her from passing out PRAISE THE LORD. Hubby’s thumb is healing nicely. Now I’m going back to resting. Did you mean to post this video twice? LOL I guess you wanted us to watch it. You & Cindy Have a safe fun amazing day. I can truly understand that. The mountains were my church and the wind was my preacher. That's why I call it Gods country. Hell Fire Muskrat you have a snowgo right in your yard it will get 20 miles per carrot get ya a saddle for him and your in business😅.But kidding aside come down hear to Utah at a Harbor Freight and you can get a 12000 pd winch for 3 to 4 hundred bucks it will make getting stuck way less miserable.I don't mean to ruin your day but I watched a video yesterday of a guy in Canada that caught 6 wolves a fisher and a coyote in on check don't that just burn your butt but ya still have to be happy for the guy

I actually have a 12,000 pound Badlands Winch from Harbor freight I bout for the Jeep. I think I'll rig it up to use on both this truck, and the Jeep. Oh yeah, I don't doubt it. I caught 3 a few years ago. We don't have that many here to be caught.

Chains are way easier to put on on level ground than come-oning on a steep slippery slope. But it probably doesn't make for as entertaining of videos.
