Two years ago I took a picture of a wagon axle in the middle of a cottonwood tree on the Little Missouri. It’s ten feet up and the iron rims are laying at the base. It would make a nice coffee table.

My families homestead here in Colorado was a beautiful spot in 1860 before progress took over. My Aunt still has a painting my Great great Uncle painted in 1870's depicting it. I love my heritage and will always have pride in it. Gotta say I'm sure glad KZbin suggested Idaho Hillbilly and your channel. I was really down in the dumps every morning before watch you guy's. No deer or elk around or those apples on the ground or close to it would have been gone.

So I used the orange bottle tanning solution to tan my last bear. The process is easy. The most crucial part is “ breaking” the hide. I used a homemade rack and a 2x4 end to rub the pelt out till it was supple. Not tannery quality but certainly good enough for rugs or wall mounts. Orange bottle tanner is cheap. Elbow grease is not but I don’t regret doing it. I’m looking at right now. I enjoy it. Enjoy the day👍👍

It costs a lot of money to raise livestock these days & the consumer always pays. I guess now you can take a breather after a non stop week. I have had a very busy week myself. Up before daylight & at things until late. Take care.
