Drop-Leaf Table 2 of 4 - Creating a Bevel on a Round Table Top

In this 4-part series, I will show you how I build a round drop-leaf table. The table is mid-century inspired with a beveled top and tapered legs. The first two videos show how I build the top and the last two videos focus on the base.
Part 2 is cutting a bevel on the underside of a round-table top using a router.

Thanks for sharing. This is very helpful and I plan to do a tabletop with Baltic birth plywood. Just wonder if the pre-stain condition and gel stain will work well with Baltic birch plywood and any finish product to recommend after stain. Thanks.

Very creative solution to cutting the bevel. I wonder why you didn’t set the angle on the mitre saw with the blade itself rather than clamping at the unusual angle?
