my son was a huge DKM fan and communicated with them often. He died and DKM came to Billings Montana on the day after what would have been his 27th birthday. They dedicated this song to him by name. I was there and I will NEVER forget the kindness the band showed by honoring my son

I am very confused about something can someone help me out please? Was Wild Rover done with Al‘s voice or mikes voice? Was Al supposed to sound Irish on Wild Rover? He sounds completely himself on other songs. Was Al supppsed to sound Irish on finnegans wake and rocky road to Dublin? Did he just stop putting on the accent? Did Al and mike use the accent on their twist In the early days?

Came here in my middle age years wanting to listen to some Irish punk. Go figure. lol Love me Irish family. And for that reason, I say the following... It’s the 11th hour. As soon as we all return back to Our Catholic Faith, Christ will back us against these liberal Communist that are in our governments. Just saying Irish brothers, wake up. We’re losing ground because we lost the Faith. This song is totally about the repentant Catholic, the Prodigal Son. I converted back to our Faith 10 years ago. Had a punk band for years, getting in fights almost every weekend gig. Over drinking everyday, etc. etc. The Blessed Mother brought me back. But Jesus wants us fighting Irish back on the team fellas to fight the spiritual battle. It’s time to convert back to our true spiritual roots my dear Irish brothers and sisters. The Irish fighting spirit never leaves us. It’s a good thing. But may this time it be for Christ and a real good. I’m never going to give up praying for all you. Seriously love you all ☘️ 🇺🇸 Always will. PS my ancestors are from Meathe County in Slane. Pablo Dee is my pen on here, but it’s Denneny. God Bless the Irish! And God Bless the Drop Kick Murphys! 🇨🇮✝️⚔️🛡☘️🇺🇸

@Billabongbasti832 жыл бұрын
Calling the Germans „krauts“ sounds like you want to call us something else. Just sayin. As much as I know this nickname was used in WW 2, like only then. Am I wrong?
